Dear swiss people and friends, hello.

So, another year has passed, and both black friday and the anniversary of erepublik is upon us, with the game having its 14th anniversary this year, which is quite amazing, right?

i will post here some useful information about the event, that i've found in various articles, including the info that i saw in biter's very useful article about the event, linked below :

and onwards we go, onto explaining and detailing some of the features/requirements and rewards of this cool new event.

the event will be available for 15 days, starting on day 5,110.

-the challenge

As usual, we have a special Weekly Challenge starting with 0 PP and end's at 90k PP. Amazing coins are earned through the weekly challenge +200 via the Anniversary pack. This coins can be used to claim your rewards when you unlock a region.

Total skip cost for all unlocks: 11,350,000.00cc
Total distance for all unlocks: 1021500 kms (The 10€ pack, will help you to earn 10k Travel Credits instantly)
Total Amazing coins for all unlocks: 2270
Total energy recovery: 140 energy/6 min
Total temporary energy center: 8000 energy

The permanent 280 energy center is located in Victoria in North America
There's a total of 500 gold on the map
The anniversary decoration (medal) is located in Pozo Colorado in South America (its an awesome medal, if you ask me!)

personally, i started my trip from pozo colorado in south america, i unlocked the medal, and i slowly worked my way towards victoria in north america, where i unlocked the +280 permanent energy center.
Ofcourse, everyone can start from a different region, depending on his choice.
(whatever you want!)

a good strategy is to unlock the permanent energy center first, then some temporary energy centers too, and as such, to fight alot with a very increased energy bar, which will reload faster due to the energy restore bonuses that you will earn as you will fight on battles, and after that, just keep unlocking rewards for gold, which is always useful.

EXTRA TIPS: You can claim your rewards at anytime you want before the event ends. A good tip is to unlock many regions and claim the rewards at the same time for better return to your account (Energy recovery, Bonus houses etc). The time that needs to unlock all the rewards is 14 days & 5 hours. So even if you play with money or not, you are able to claim all regular or extra rewards.

From the other side, to increase the Distance Traveled you need to move in different locations (Anniversary Packs helps you a lot), with currency or tickets. Distance Traveled and Coins get reduced when you claim the rewards.

In the Shop, you will be able to purchase the Amazing Journey XIV pack.

Include: x1 Extra rewards, +100k Distance Credits, +200 Amazing Coins, x14 Gold

As you can see, to claim the regular rewards (left bar with the decoration), it needs a certain of time (1h, 2h, 4h, 8h or 12h). After that, it will ask you to spend an amount of Distance & Tokens to claim it. The Extra rewards that you gain from the Anniversary Pack, give you the chance to claim the 2nd bar (right one) of the rewards. The second bar, doesn't need an amount of Distance Traveled or Coins. So yes, in my opinion, it's worth enough to buy the 10€ pack.
Also, if you want to accelerate your Journey, because you are running out of time, you can unlock a region instantly by spending an amount of curreny (do not suggest, it's expensive enough).


The Blueprints (20 in total) required to unlock both of skins (Ground & Air) can all be found on the Amazing Journey Map

first, the special tank skin :

and the special airplane skin :
[FX-14 EXECUTIONER]

with that being said, the biggest difference between last years and this years event of the same name+type, is that this year, you have to earn ''amazing tokens'' too, along with the already known-distance coins, and this sucks, because you will need to fight alot in battles, so that you can earn (a few) ''amazing tokens'' coins per reward in the weekly challenge screen, and it will take you alot more time, effort and battles in order to get the rewards, so it will be harder for you to earn the rewards that you would easily win in last years event, which only needed you to travel some distance, and boom, you were good to go...

ofcourse i do understand that they do this for money (its understandable),
but its one thing to do it cleverly while it remains fun, and its one very different thing to make the event harder and harder until the player has to pay in order to get his/her rewards...

imho, they shouldnt put the requirement for ''amazing tokens'' coins in the event, and they should only require from the player to use the distance travelled coins system and the waiting time for 3 unlocking regions, as they did in the previous years of the event...

other than that, i really like the rewards and the various goodies that the event will give to us.
THAT was good.

ofcourse, if they want to kickstart the games own activity, they should add, (as i've been saying for many years now), they should add more events (seasonal or not), more new quests/missions, things that earn you medals, and they should also add more new medals from events that you can earn, much like the older halloween ones, or various top 100 -top 50 players events in e-national competitions...

simple events and quests where you can earn new medals would be good too,
as well as the addition of new e-countries into the game :
add new e-nations such as san marino, monaco, andorra, the vatican, mongolia, various african nations, kazakstan, etc etc...

you know, anything to spice the game up.

i've also mentioned something about a ''space race'' idea too, to them, which entails the racing, competition and battles that would be fought for regional bonuses in moon/mars, and in other planets and for prestige battles over which e-country has the best/most advenced space tech/rockets/stats...

it would be a great idea to add in this game, but what can i say?
some things are as they are... (sadly or not)

this game remains good, but it should dream to become greater, because it could become greater, and it could spark interest in its gamers again...
thats why i say what im saying here.
