Hello my Friends!

Party Presidential elections are just around the corner and as previously announced I have decided to stand for President of India United. My Vice President will be Asterism, who brings a great deal of international and political experience to the candidature. It is my hope that you honor us with your vote at the coming election and allow us the privilege of leading this fantastic party to new levels of success.

That said, we cannot do this alone. We have some amazing and dedicated players in eIndia, many of whom work actively with the party. It is only with the support and active involvement of party members can we achieve the greatness that our nation deserves, so please pledge your support and get involved with us. The legacy left by previous IU Presidents is one to be proud of and humbled by. If together we can follow in their footsteps we will indeed do great things.
Our strategy for the party follows a simple formula...... the 5 Es.


Economics:
Our country population is still not large, but it is growing thanks to the great work of amazing leaders like Ashwamedh, Brood, Mav, Shail, David, Arjaa and many, many others (sorry we did not mention you but you know who you are and we salute you!) One of the key drivers for growing a nation is of course WAR (see later), bu another key facet is economic growth. Players will come to work in nations where they can earn good salaries. Similarly, investors will build factories in countries where they have a good supply of labor and an outlet for their goods that gives a decent return. Bottom line is that we really need to have a clear plan for how we can stimulate our Economy and attract players who want to build and grow. We need investors and we need to be seen as a country that is easy and profitable to invest in.
To develop a clear and simple plan we will form an Economic Department. This will have a leader and a small team who are savvy in the Economic module that underpins the game. They will develop their plans and once agreed, we will use these to influence policy making and support the Economic growth of our eIndian nation.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved and have some fun.


Expansion:
Making our party an even more interesting and fun thing to get involved in is not only critical for the party, but also helpful to the eIndian goal of a Baby Boom. Getting back to basics with a clear and simple party ideology and having real party roles that players can get involved in, express some individuality and have some fun. We also want to try and bring about a little more democracy in the party, so that all members can still take organized and collective decisions even when party president may or may not be around! Again we will have a leader responsible for this area of party activity.

Elections:
Ensuring we have a strong plan and organization around election time, both national and party is something that will help our eNation stay free of PTO. With the creation of a "Steering Committee" which will manage election activity, publicize where the party stands upon various issues, support new players with voting instructions and help in selecting and organizing candidates is essential to keep things running smoothly. These committee member decisions will have a critical role in the running of the party and will require a strong Chairperson to lead the Election Steering committee.

Engagement:
Organizing support for the Baby Boom is essential for all "true" parties that support the growth of eIndia. Making it fun to take part and giving people a chance to get heard. Organizing frequent IRC meetings to enhance debate on issues around the 5 E strategy. The whole 5 E approach is arranged to try and MAXIMIZE the opportunity for people to get involved and engaged in eIndia. Our Executive responsible for Engagement will play a key role in our party.

External Alliances:
Supporting international relations and developing strategies to influence the eIndia governments direction towards other nations in the interests of eIndia. We will work closely with other nations to support investment and growth in eIndia, enhancing foreign relations. The person responsible for this in the party will learn lots about foreign relations and will be in a good position to take part on possible MoFA roles in the future.
