July 10th - This Day in American History

Day 4,250, 16:51 Published in USA USA by KAI5ER

In the spirit of American Independence Day (and how we could consider July to be "American Independence Month"), it always helps in times of unfortunate e-conflict to remember the revolutionary and rebellious spirit of the American people...

Only July 10th 1776 our forefathers, or those who carried the torch forward to create one of the greatest nations on Earth that brought us the joys of the electric lightbulb and the McDonald's Happy Meal, went to Bowling Green Park in New York City and pulled down the statue of the English Monarch Geroge III in a symbolic act of defiance - however, moments afterwards with a stroke of American ingenuity, the two-ton lead statue was melted down to ammunition for muskets to fight the British for our independence. Some pieces survived to this day as novelties and historical collector's items.

The moral of the story: while things can be tough and our elected leaders (hopefully) strive to return American territory to the American people to ensure our God-given sovereignty on the American continent, let it be known that sometimes the only way forward is through.

Stay strong, America.

"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition."
