How I met the daddy

Day 3,251, 11:08 Published in Armenia Romania by Tigran the Great

Hello everyone! 🙂

It's been a while since you've been able to read a few words from me; I've been rather busy at work and became a 2-clicker.

UPDATE: I didn't make it to the top 3 but I still got 100 Q7 weps. Thx for all who helped! 🙂

I decided to come back from seclusion (like the Mammoths at one of my events this year) because I felt a disturbance (in a good way) in the Force. Loolie Drea is holding an interesting contest and I thought I'd give it a shot since I like seeing more cc than I'll ever see in RL in my account. Well.. almost.

Anyway, how it all began:
Back in 9th grade (I'm 25 by the way) I heard about this easy to play game. I went looking for it and it seemed kind of cool. Didn't understand much about the economic module (or any module for that matter) but it seemed cool to see a hot Lana telling me what a good job I've done with my training and I also liked fighting, even if my strength was ridiculously small. I still won a BH at some point though but only because we we're giving away that land (I didn't get the memo) and kept on fighting untill I miraculously turned the wall and everyone started calling me a moron for not paying attention (they let me keep my BH though).

After a while I got tired of Lana (I was in highschool, that's the time when you change girlfriends more often than socks) and the game as a whole (especially since my eCountry kept on losing) so I gave it up. I was in eRomania by the way. Because I do live in Romania and am half Romanian.

Anyway, a few years go by and I hear some old guys talking about eRepublik. That brought back memories and I thought I should try it again. It didn't last long 'cause I broke the rules. I reactivated my former account (couldn't believe I remembered the password) and, when I finally understood a couple of things, I made a new account and transfered everything on it. But then I figured.. why not keep both?! 🙂

Well, the "daddy" quickly noticed that and taught me a lesson in ethics. Like any child, at first I was pissed but then I got it so, after a few months, I made a new account (the current one) and kept it as the only one.

Since I'm not banned, I'm guessing daddy Plato appreciates it.

After that it was a pretty cool journey. I joined Soimii Patriei MU where I met a couple of awesome people. Had lots of laughs and fun with those guys (never met in person though). They helped me build up my training grounds so I managed to build a lot of "free" strength in the past year. I had a couple of jobs there too. My very first one was to revitalise the old Soimii Patriei Newspaper, where I organised a couple of contests.

Anyway, that's basically how I met the daddy Plato and how I came to this game.

Regarding the best moment here, I'd have to say winning my first BH (on my original account). Even though it was a mistake, I felt really proud of being able to inflict the most damage AND turn the wall with my little over 1000 strength. It was the very first time I felt like I achieved something.

The second best was when I hit 100 subscribers to my newspaper here, on my current account. It felt rewarding to know that I managed to convince 100 people to press that subscribe button.

As for the worst moment, I'd have to say it was when I got published with an article in the eRomanian Ministry of Education's newspaper. Although a very proud moment, some people went out of their way to ruin it for me and everyone by acting like know-it-alls and saying my math is all wrong. I tried to explain that I talked about income, NOT profit, but it was like talking to the walls. So I just walked away, not before telling the Minister back then to delete that part of the article so that the drama would end.

So these are a couple of moments from my eRep experience. I have many more but am not ready to write my autobiography so will stop here. I am available for interviews though.. 😁

Anyway, I hope I win 'cause I really need the CC. By the way, it seems like the one who gets the most endorses is the one who wins the contest. So it would really help if you would endorse my article. But only if you like it. 🙂 Oh and no, I'm not splitting the money. 😁

Have a great night everyone! 🙂

Tigran (the one who needs the money).
