here we are with the second part of the guide that explains you how to manage a newspaper.

Today, as requested from Misho so will we give you a continue on the introduction to newspaper article. In this article would we try to give you information how you make banner in your article, some basic layout control and how to add videos into your articles.

Question: Do you need to make the video a youtube video and inbed it to use it at Erepublik?

Pictures and banners can be made using Powerpoint, Photoshop or any other editing program. When you are satisfied with their creation, you must save them as jpeg and upload them on the web, using sites as zupimages.

Question: How can I upload pictures?

For example, if you are using zupimages:
1- Click on “Parcourir” to pick the photo you want to use;
2- Click on “Valider” and the job is done.
Look at the following pictures…it’s easy, don’t you think?

Question: Can I have a direct link on an image?

Sure, you can choose to make banners redirecting from an image to a link. For example if you put in your newspaper’s writing page:

The results will be:

And the person who clicks on the image will be redirected to the website/internetpage/image/etc that you choose.

Question: How can I make different changes in the text?

Bold → you put b inside [] at the beginning and end with /b in [].
Italic → you put I inside [] at the beginning and end with /i in [].
Underscore → you put u inside [] at the beginning and end with /u in [].
Center → you put center inside [] at the beginning and end with /center [].
Left → you put left er inside [] at the beginning and end with /left [].
Right→ you put right inside [] at the beginning and end with /right [].

You can use center/left/right codes also with images, links and videos.

Question: Can I publish only in my nation?

No! You can publish in any nation present in Erepublik but publishing an article is free only in the nation where you have citizenship.

Question: How much time do I have to edit my article once published?

Your article will be editable for 30 days after publishing date. The same is valid if you want to delete your article: you must do it before the expiration of the 30 days.
