First of all, I wanted to greet everyone and tell you that I am proud to be in your country; being Italian, I decided to offer you an article in which I speak of the beauties of my country that holds the world record of property protected by UNESCO (over 50 buildings and landscapes).
I state that it is also an article slightly different from those that trait usually because suddenly the geopolitical situation, but that of eRepublik.
So I hope you enjoy the article and happy reading!
The appearance of the waterfall is actually due to human intervention that since antiquity is dedicated to deviazioen the course of the Velino to facilitate the descent in Black and to exploit, hereinafter, the energy.
Sorrento was joined to the rest of the coast by a narrow bridge that exceeded the valley: in 1866 it was decided to remove the bridge and replace it with a square, getting the space required for its realization.
So it was that the Vallone dei Mulini found himself divided in two: on the one hand, the outlet to the sea, occupied then by road to the port, the other small industrial complex that ceased to operate in the early twentieth century, both for the lack of water, channeled, both for reasons of climate, as the total absence of wind and high humidity, which constantly hovers around 80%, due to the artificial barrier, made it impossible for any form of human life.
However, this has benefited the proliferation of numerous plants, some considered rare or almost completely disappeared, as the Phillitis Vulgaris, as well as various forms of carnivorous plants.
Bishopric seat from 970 until 1986, had among its bishops Felice Peretti, bishop from 1566 to 1571, then as Pope Sixtus V.
In 2004, together with the town of Cerreto Sannita, was one of two municipalities of Campania to be awarded the quality label "Orange Flag" Touring Club. Trademark that still holds today.
Since 2012 it became part of the association's most beautiful villages in Italy.
Allusive verses in Italian by Annibal Caro (the first one is of him, in 1564), Bitussi and Cristoforo Madruzzo, some of them now eroded, were inscribed besides sculptures. The reason for the layout and design of the garden is largely unknown : perhaps they were meant as a foil to the perfect symmetry and layout of the great Renaissance gardens nearby at Villa Farnese and Villa Lante. Next to a formal exedra is a tilting watchtowerlike casina, the so-called Casa Pendente ("Leaning House").
The building served as a luxury hotel in the post WWII era, then was vacated and closed. A committee called FPXA (1813-2013), acronym for Ferdinand Panciatichi Ximenes d’Aragon was organized in 2012 to attempt to restore and preserve the palazzo which has 365 rooms, each with unique, Moorish decoration.
The palace has some 1,200 rooms, including two dozen state apartments, a large library, and a theatre modelled after the Teatro San Carlo of Naples. A monumental avenue that would run 20 kilometers between the palace and Naples was planned but never realized. The garden, a typical example of the baroque extension of formal vistas, stretches for 120 ha, partly on hilly terrain. It is also inspired by the park of Versailles.
The park starts from the back façade of the palace, flanking a long alley with artificial fountains and cascades. There is a botanical garden, called "The English Garden", in the upper part designed in the 1780s by Carlo Vanvitelli.
The idea came to Duilio Marcante that, in 1950, he wanted to put a statue of Christ in the seabed that was a place of death, during a dive, Dario Gonzatti. Four years after the statue was moved to the picturesque bay of San Fruitful right in front of the Abbey of San Fruttuoso.
Two and a half meters of spirituality that, under the water, takes on an even more unreal.
To see it up close immersion is certainly the best way. The Ligurian coast organizes diving excursions tours just to see the statue.
This lake is located in Lombardy, in the province of Como and its basin, settled many of Italy's most beautiful stately homes like Villa d'Este and Villa Erba and many picturesque villages such as Cernobbio and Moltrasio.
Actually
A few years ago even George Clooney has bought a house in his central island.
With the classic beauty of the Mediterranean were able to bewitch men most rich and famous of the world; with their character would be able to cope with whatever the difficulties that lie ahead and at the same time know how to be gentle with children and husband.
That's all from Italy, i hope you enjoyed the article and good luck!
