Equal opportunities is not the same thing as equal outcome.
We have some jobs that are paid less and often women seek those jobs (speaking from a Swedish perspective here and Sweden is very gender equal) so when women seek make dominant jobs they are not paid less in that sector than the males are.
Not many countries are like Sweden though and I've lived in a few others where women are not treated as equals and that is discrimination pure and simple.
In RL, absolutely. However, this New World avoids gender bias, in favour of better-access for-pay. In other words, we abandon a genderist construct, only to fall back on the classic Marxist explanation (of almost EVERYTHING really) of an economic privilege sorting. A better determinate would be “Equitable Access”. That, unfortunately, is far beyond any in-game mechanics, and is barely undstood IRL, though I stand with your intent. o7
For the last 10 years or so I have stopped see things in this game as un-fair or biased. It's a game and no one force me to play it, rather the oppositie 😉
If I argue for some changes it is from a game perspective, how things can improve here to make the game more attractive for others to join. But I really do not care if eSerbia or eAlbania occupies all regions.

Good demonstration in the video. There are some things that could happen to make this game fair.
"Please verify your account to ensure a fair game"; I say prevent the use of credit transactions to ensure a fair game.
This would of course mean everyone pays the same amount per week/month etc!
