eRepublik EXTRA TOOLS

Hello everyone,

Today's article is about a few things that you might not be aware of their existence in the game and how to use them.

Keep in mind that this article is only about letting people know of these options. that doesn't mean I'm encouraging you to use them, just letting you know they exist.

As for my personal view, you can find it at the end of the article.

So, let's get started!

MIBBIT CHAT

I'm sure almost all of you know about chats and how they work. But, since this is about extra tools, I had to mention it, since it's not an in-game feature.

Most parties, military units, and so on, have a room on Mibbit, where they discuss just about everything in-game related. Most of them are public, however there are chat rooms where you need permission to join, usually used for military coordination or related matters.

You don't need an account, however it's adviced that you make one. For security if nothing else.

THE BLACK MARKET

Since we're on the subject of MIBBIT, the next tool is the black market, which is also a chat room. People go there to make deals for in-game transactions. The difference is that they do it directly between them, rather than posting offers on the in-game market. Thus, no taxes will be percieved.

Evidently, prices there are below in-game market prices, so you can make a few sweet deals. However there are risks involved. The most obvious one is the one in which the person you're dealing with won't hold up his end of the bargain. So you have to be carefull and do background checks on everyone you want to deal with. Usually someone gives you a vote of confidence to get there, so if you doublecross someone, both of you will be either banned or marked as people that can't be trusted.

THE VOTERS CLUB

The Voters Club is a website where you can get in-game money. How? Vote for articles, subscribe to newspapers or other things (usually those 2).

You create an account, log on, and follow the instructions (vote/sub). At the end of each week, you get payed by the owner of the website for every vote and sub, who is a real player in the game.

You don't make a lot of money, but if you do this daily, you'll get a considerable amount at the end of the month, which, if nothing else, is an extra income for you. You can also be the one asking for votes / subs, but then you're the one paying, instead of getting paid.

MEDIA MOGUL PROJECT

The Media Mogul Project is all about the Media Mogul Medal. The concept is simple: you subscribe to people using the browser app and earn points. The points will then be used to pay for people subscribing to your newspaper. The ratio is 1 person/newspaper = 1 sub.

All you have to do is to install the browser app and subscribe as much as you can/want.

eRepublik EXTRA TOOLS

Those are the tools. As for my personal opinion about them, the chat gets a defenite yes, the black market gets a no (too many risks), the last 2 get a maybe.

Black Market can pay off, but it would require too much of my time. Same goes for Voters Club, the difference being that it's 100% safe. For every vote you know you'll get your money back. Therefore the time is cut in half. But then again, so are the profits. On the other hand, paying for votes or subs is a no for me.

As for the Mogul Project, it has a maybe since you do get the Medal much more faster, but it kind of takes the fun away. This depends on how you see subs.. means to an end.. or a vote of confidence given by the people who read your article.

I see them as both, therefore I decided to use this tool. And it works.. Started off with 155 (hard earned) subs, and after 2 days I'm already at 405!

Well there you have it. Now you know about them. So you can choose to use them or not. 🙂

Yours,
Tigran
