Day 3,500 eRep Contest article [Severrus]

When I logged in today, I saw disappointment on shouts of people because Admins didn't release anything special for this very special day, 3,500.

But, 3 hours ago, on the Facebook eRepublik fan page, Admins announced yet again, another article competition, see details here: https://www.facebook.com/eRepublik/photos/a.56482528321.63831.26897053321/10155674672688322/?type=3&theater

So, without further ado, here goes my try.

Admins asked for an article with funny memories of eRepublik.
And oh boy, I have so many..


- I remember when I started playing this game, and I was a noob, and couldn't catch up to the big Visa players.

- I remember when there were actual babybooms, and actual new players who stayed in the game and tried their best to catch up to the Visa players against all odds.

- I remember later on, when we held our southern neighbors under occupation for something less than a year I believe, and then this greek guy apparently bought a partition of the game (as I heard), and then again, many greek Visa players arrived, spending money like crazy.

- I remember when eRepublik was organizing International meetings, and they organized a very scandalous one (again, probably because of the greek co-owner or investor in eRep), which was different from the other meetings. For the previous and later meetings, eRepublik announced the event as in this order: City, Country.
This time suddenly they decided to squeeze the region name inbetween, like this: City, Region, Country

which led to huge revolt and massive departure of Macedonians from the game due to that intentional offense.

It is worth mentioning that the banner was later changed after a few days, but the damage has been already done. Macedonia was already weaker.

- I remember when eRepublik Admins were two-faced and when adding Macedonia they decided not to meddle in the naming issue, thus used both official national name, and the reference.

However, when it came to the strongest country in the game, Serbia, and their regarding region of Kosovo, they released a poll to let the community decide whether should Kosovo be Serbian or not.

*Not to be misunderstood, I voted for Serbian Kosovo, as did 85% of Macedonia, second highest percentage of proSerbia votes after Serbia itself.

- I remember when packs were first introduced, I remember also when Maverick Pack was introduced, and how it destroyed eRepublik and its lower division players.

- I remember when eRepublik used to be exciting, and full of all kinds of people.
Now all I have left is the memories of the many, many friends that left the game, because Admins just couldn't get enough.


So, here are my funny/memorable moments of eRepublik as requested by the contest.

You see, its funny because its true.
