A bit of history.
Our party HOPE is the child from the LCC 'our old party', the LCC was active years ago and, just like HOPE today, wanted an open and democratic anti-elitist system. The LCC posed a real threat to the Belgian elite in the early days. Just like today, the elite was then using tax money for their own gain. When some of the elite members switched over to us 'Avegan, Goopy Pants and manny others', we could almost have overthrown power. As a result, the elite committed a PTO by giving Citizenship to elitists from other countries. As a result, many within the LCC no longer had the courage to move on and left the game or went elsewhere. I myself then chose to quit ERepublik.
Today we still see that tax money is mainly going to the Elite, recently they have received as good as 1,000,000 Bef of our tax money through their BAF. In stead to use this money to attract new players or motivate players in a lower level and make them stronger. Investing everything in 1 or a few people is downright silly. We are a community, everyone counts within a community!
That is why we continue to fight against injustice with Hope, we want a better and fairer system, a system where everyone counts!
Join us and fight for a fair and just, democratic Belgium.

That only adds up to 702.616cc of the country's wealth that has been directly used for you.
I'm not going to defend the old Belgian govs, they did their fair share of shady stuff. I don't need to defend them because we're not them. Trying to attack us based on others people deeds is just plain weird.
You say we direct the Belgian tax money directly to ourselves? You cite the Belgian Air Force Days events as such occurrences. Have not been open about the rules, conditions and rewards? Did you think it was unfair? Did you say anything at the time? Or are you just trying to rouse spirits against a non-existent elite enemy because we're once again closing in on election time? Sure we got more than most out of the events, because we participated more that's all.

Please! Do tell about your miracle plan to encourage our lower level player to participate more and make them stronger! All our programs are aimed towards that, but since we don't discriminate any citizen can take part in them and unsurprisingly, the ones you call "elites", which are active in the game, tend to benefit from them.
Stop whining and take concrete actions if you want to help the citizens. You don't even need to be in the government for that. We would be more than happy to direct funds towards any program or plan that make sense. But what we're against is rewarding inactivity. We're not going to send thousands of currency to a player that will die 30 days later or do nothing with it because they're just two-clicking.

By the way, how can you say that your program is there to help players in a lower level? Since the players in a lower level have barely received CC? You and D9 alone got over half a million CC. The rest was spread among the other participants, participants who got barely a fraction of what you gave yourself.
I only made it as personal as you did when you labeled us as elites that steal 1m cc from the taxes. Nothing more, nothing less.
As I said, the event rewards activity if you wanted more you were free to also burn tons of bars. If we hadn't fought that hard, do you realize the milestone reached would've been ridiculously low? Reaching milestones increased the rewards of all the participants, not just ours.
And programs go to those that actually bother applying to them. I explained quite clearly we want to reward activity, not waste money by throwing it at dying accounts.
As in the past, it's the same excuses that you use. Not realizing that most players leave EBe for that very reason. You should be happy that there are still people who want change and improvement instead of sticking to reactionary ideas. It's not about how many energy bars you ate, they were ultimately reimbursed by the taxpayer. A progressive system that benefits everyone is necessary to achieve further growth. We are now re-discussing and developing our old proposal with Hope and will propose it again. Again and again we will introduce it ... until it gets through. Don't worry, you too will get your energy bars ... there will be a little less for you. 😉
We'll be waiting for this "mythical" proposal. Must be impressive if you've been working on it for a year.
You know very well that we have already made proposals several times. I admitt, it sounds cool to claim that the opposing party is not doing anything. We will remember that for the future. 😉
Why did you delete the article then? Also, please don't propose the variant of the Irish aircraft program for 100th time.
So it will be an air rank program. Even though we have to present it 1000 times, we keep presenting it. That program is much more progressive, although the rough edges still need to be removed.
I sincerely hope you can propose that program. I only have a very blurry recollection of the previous proposals but I'm willing to work with you in order to have you run such a program. You'd have full management and we'll provide the money according to the needs.

Maybe check how many of those 'few elites', that were eligible for the cc, actually accepted the cc? Supporting the active fighters is generally the best way to increase activity. I am sure the low level players (you guys), eligible for the programs always accept your cc, so it's pointless to ask for encouraging those players as this is already done.
Motivating new players is also pointless as there are no new players in the game, let alone Belgium. It would be supporting 'new players' that will be banned as multies some days later.
I would also be interested in how big is your contribution to 'our tax money', that those elites so easily spread between themselves? Mine, personally, is 1/13 of the eBelgian WAM tax money and I don't have a single company in Belgium.
Also, how do you think with a daily tax earnings for Belgium of 30ish thousand cc per day can the elites keep running those programs that you all pparticipate in - houses, pilots, etc? This is almost 3x more the monthly tax earnings of Belgium distribted in programs. Does your great debunking of the elites distributing the collosal Belgian treasury between themselves seem plausible? Where do those money come from?
I don't know you and have never seen you in Belgium until now. Apparently you are well informed about the financial situation. Apparently you know very well that in the end it only benefits those at the top, using it to make it more attractive to players at a lower level is a waste of money for you. In fact, you only prove what we have been saying for years with Hope and before that the LCC. Thank you for that

As Curly mentioned I was one of the founders (so to speak) of eBe Airforce program. So ya, I am familiar with it.
And your comment is exactly the opposite of what I am saying.
What I am saying is that the eBe income is so miniscule that it would never be able to support those programs without the massive effort from "elites" like Curly and Gyantse for example.
They are not only NOT stealing the treasury as you imply, but actually making great effort to add more to it, so that those programs are existant.
I also asked you to check how many of thise "elites" accept the program money. I have personally only donated stuff and time to Belgium, but never accepted a single cc, so far - I neither need to, nor want to.
How many times have you donated or rejected a program cc? In any case you are not obliged to reject the cc, even the oppositu - accept it and build a better gaming experience for you and your fellas. But the least you can do is appreciate those people's great effort to keep those programs alive and hence some activity.

Dunno if you have more companies out of Brussels but assuming you have only those your montly tax contribution to the eBe treasury is between 15k and 16k cc.
So could you tell me who benefits most from those programs - you who not only returned your taxes fully + several thousand cc above or the likes of Curly, Gyantse and D9 who spend resources and most importantly time to keep it all running?
Maybe help them or at least appreciate them instead of trashing them all the time.
Curly has already offered to review our plans and help to make them a reality. You're turning it into a personal feud again, which it isn't. We want a different and better system, we want to expand Belgium at every level, a better economy that contributes to everyone and attracts players instead of repelling them. You use reactionary old-world ideas, ideas that do not bring innovation and contribute nothing. If we follow you, any player in a lower level can better leave Belgium. Because, according toyou Belgium is only Curly, D9, Gyantse and yourself. This is not how we see it. We want a bigger and stronger Belgium

I am too eDead to consider myself special as you suggest. I neither write articles, nor get involved with politics. I just get annoyed sometimes and can't help myself, but comment.
I am not making it personal - you and your buddies are, by constantly attacking the so called elites - Curly, D9, Gyantse, claiming they are stealing and misusing their ingame national buttons, which I quite clearly explained, abive, why they are not.
You want this and that and thatfor the glory of eBelgium and yet the only thing you all docis attack "elites" instead of joining in with proper ideas, for which they have expressed multiple times that they are always opened to.
So ya, maybe get your facts straight and work together with the elites, cause these elites are ones that actually try to keep eBe alive.

I note that you do not love the word elite. Neither do we, not that we hate the person behind it ... but the system attached to it. I am going to make you happy, we do want to work together. We are already working together more or less. Although that could be better. Improving the cooperation and slowly but surely changing the current system, making it more accessible to every Ebelgian is our goal.
