I mean the title says it all, but I will elaborate because, well, we need good spirits and good vibes right now.

So… In case you hadn’t noticed…. We kind of getting pounded by other countries. Some are friends, sure, but there definitely is some less than desirable haters whooping on us. It happens. These things tend to be cyclic, as anyone who had played for a while will know.

However, inevitably when these things come into fruition, morale of the eAmerican people gets low. Again, this is cyclic.

The problem then becomes a matter of how perk of that morale.

I’ll be the first to admit that I am not always a fan of the way the community treats one another. But today is not one of those days. The national feed is full of people offering help and goodwill today.

It started with a post late last night by PotUS Herr Vootsman offering a stimulus payment of 10,000cc to any to comment on his post. Herr Vootsman, as many will know, runs a similar program through government channels (CRAP), but this was a stimulus from his personal stash of cash. He cites Pyrrhus D. Orlock as the spurring factor is his decision for the stimulus

I admit I didn’t notice the post last night. But I noticed it tonight when I logged into eRep from the parking lot of the grocery store before I bought dinner. By then it had been joined by two more posts, one from Henry William French and one from Thee Dude. They also offered stuffs to people for commenting. I, Trekker got excited and added my own post about it. Since then, dmjohnston has offered personalized messages for comments, What A Guy is offering poems, and Derphoof, has authorized DMJ to post a giving offer on the national wall as well!

It warms the cockles of my heart to see these moments of generosity within our community. We don’t always (or, in some cases, often) like each other. But we all love our community in ways unique to us.

Long live the eUSA!

This i cheap propaganda! 10k cc you say? How many got it? How much cc were given away? PEANUTS! How high are our full reserve (the real one, not hat the treasurer/golden-pig says?

You would have to ask the other participating givers about the logistics of their own giveaways. My post had 50 individual posters, of which 38 given paid 2000cc, 9 were given at least 25 tanks, and 3 were give 1600 Q5 food. With a couple additional payments made at my discretion due to other factors (thanking me and other such things). All told, I dumped around 110K cc (as the tanks and food were not exactly equal to 2000cc) into the give away from my account.

My understanding is that the other giveaways were also from personal accounts.
