TRAGEDY IN INDONESIA


Today the death of at least 380 people in Indonesia has been confirmed.


The island of Celebes (Sulawesi, in Indonesian) suffered yesterday two earthquakes: a first of magnitude 6, and later another one more powerful of 7.5 that was the one that caused a tsunami, which took to the coast waves of more than three meters.


It is believed that the death toll will rise because it is believed that hundreds of others were trapped under the rubble of the houses that collapsed.

That is why I send all my support to the Indonesian people, and I hope that they will recover soon from this disaster.

Hoy se confirmó la muerte de al menos 380 personas en Indonesia.

La isla de Célebes (Sulawesi, en indonesio) sufrió ayer viernes dos seísmos: un primero de magnitud 6 un segundo más potente de 7,5 que fué el que provocó el tsunami, que llevó a la costa olas de más de tres metros.


Se teme que la cifra de muertos aumente porque se cree que otros cientos de personas quedaron atrapadas bajo los escombros de las casas que se derrumbaron.

Es por ello que mando todo mi apoyo al pueblo Indonesio, y deseo que se recuperen pronto de este desastre.
