SFP Mentorship Program:
The SFP will soon be launching a new Mentorship Program for young SFP Party members. The idea is that more experienced players who wish to volunteer would be paired up with a newer, lower-level player. The Mentor will be responsible for guiding the new player through the ins and outs of the game (such as when to upgrade training grounds, which companies are worth building, etc) and supplying them with some supplies regularly.
If you are interested in being a volunteer Mentor, or are newer and are interested in getting a Mentor, please let us know!
On the Work Tax:
The Work Tax has been proposed to go from 3% to 2% by SFP Congressman dariuswolf (on the eUSA forum). After achieving enough approval there, SFP Congressman Franklin Stone proposed the law in-game for a vote. At the time of writing, it appears that it will pass, though it is too early to say for sure. This proposal is part of a compromise plan where the work tax will be decreased to 2% while reserves start to fill back up, with the ultimate goal of reducing the Work Tax back to 1%. This has been a non-partisan issue, with members from every Top 5 Party in support.
EDIT
The original wording in this section can be interpreted to appear that SFP is trying to take credit for the plan. That is not SFP's goal, and the poor representation is 100% on me. There were conferences (via in-game PMs) between the SFP Congressional Delegation and the Congressional Delegations of each of the other Top 5 Parties. There was support and opposition in most of them. I also want to clarify the plan was put together with our friends in the Black Sheep Party, without whom this legislation would never have seen such success. I apologize for the miscommunication.
Revolutionary Committee Revamp
There is currently a discussion on amending Section 3 of the SFP Constitution. This is the section that defines how the Revolutionary Committee is selected. There is also some talk about revamping the RC, making it more of a work-oriented group and introducing a General Assembly to make Party decisions. We would really like to hear from as many SFP members as possible on this!

Reducing to 2% means a longer period of time to reach the same goal.
It will hopefully slow the liquidity crisis the markets are facing!
Fake news.
Maybe some people don't want to reach the silly reserve goal without more transparency in the movement of money.
dmj, I like you,
denying reality, does not make it untrue!
But denying reality sure does make the world seem more interesting!
You would make a fine addition to our party. Consider this an open offer. 😃
Thanks for mentioning your working with the Black Sheep to help lower it.
Especially incredible, since we were a very major part in it even passing. And in that every single one of our members have been on board with lowering the taxes since the get go.
That's 100% on me, and I hope it doesn't sour the relationship between SFP and TBSP. I hope the edit I've made sets the story straight.
Thank you, Mr. Dillon. Much appreciated.
Congratulations SFP
Niemand has been helping me a lot. thank you 🙂
Thanks for the correction!
We all worked together only fair we all share credit. Even those few votes from other parties 🙂
Dil. you mention my name, but I had little to do with it other than trying to get the issue revived for Franklin. I would also like to point out, and I hope you're not holding anything in your hands, but Oblige and Former Speaker Johnston were very helpful in getting the process on track.
As to the Honorable Gentalman's remark about the goal, I would like to point out that if it is constantly dipped into, we will never reach it.
On a personal note to Mr. Johnston, I suppose, now that you're not speaker I should be nice to you and on my honor, I will try my best. There is a new speaker in town against whom I am required by tradition to case my ire.
There are many people to thank.
Taxation is the biggest form of elitistism. It's like saying; "You people don't know what you best interests are."
Toss me up as a mentor Dillon! I'll gladly volunteer
I can help mentor; let me know.
I included you in the Forum thread
Thanks!
