Hello, eUSA! Today, I'm proud to announce the Socialist Freedom Party's delegation to the eUS Congress. First, though, I'd like to explain our selection process.

The Socialist Freedom Party has a Primary election for our Congress delegation. Everyone who is interested in representing the Socialist Freedom Party declares their intent on the SFP Forum between the 17th and the 20th.

On the 20th, we begin our Primary election which lasts through the end of the 22nd. Each SFP member votes for at least 3 and at most 5 of the players who declared their intent to run. The vote is closed at daychange after the 22nd. On the 23rd, the votes are tallied up (usually several times). Our Congress list is then ranked accordingly on the 24th.

If there are any ties, the player with the fewest Congress medals is ranked above the one with more medals, making sure newer players have opportunities in true SFP fashion. In the event that there is a tie in both the vote count and medal count, the Party President breaks the tie.

So, why vote SFP?
The SFP stands for 3 major things.

1) We want to see the Work Tax go back down to 1%. We're willing to compromise on exactly WHEN it happens, as long as the ultimate goal is reducing to 1%, which does seem to be the case at present.

2) The SFP has always stood for transparency in Congress. We feel that too much is kept private in Congress and that too much is kept *from* Congress. There have been a number of improvements to this passed over the past few months by members of all T5 eUSA Parties, and the SFP would like to continue this trend of working together to find solutions that we can all mostly live with.

3) Many members of the SFP are beginning to question our foreign policy, and you can bet it'll be a discussion that the SFP will push. Attacking Croatia without provocation only to ultimately have to turn to our allies to bail us out of our mistake left us in a weak position internationally. A big thank-you to Finland, Sweden, and Poland in particular for your help - we're glad to have friends like you.

And now, the big reveal:

Drum roll please.
