[SFP] Maxwell Hanz for SFP PP

Day 3,677, 20:11 Published in USA USA by Dillon Richards

Party President elections are tomorrow (the 15th), and I'm endorsing Maxwell Hanz. I've had the pleasure of getting to know Max over the past couple of months and have to say I couldn't imagine a better Party President. Max is a stand-up guy and is deeply devoted to the SFP. He is dedicated to transparency and has an ambitious plan for the coming term.

As a former Party President, and multi-term Spokesperson for the SFP, his credentials speak for themselves. So, instead of going on about Max's merits which are self-evident, I've decided instead to get into the holiday spirit and adapt a famous Christmas poem for your reading pleasure:

'Twas the Night Before Voting

'Twas the night before voting, and all who're online
Have an important task, upon voting time
The Party we love and have built up in name
Could crash down around us and bring us much shame

Our Party today has a path to make clear
Do we reach for the future, or cower in fear
of a foul-mouthed rage addict gritting his teeth
with the manners of'a certain Commander-in-Chief?

For me and others, the choice is apparent
We'll vote for the man who's always been transparent
He's thoughtful, polite, and pursues good advice
and will fight to bring us our Worker's paradise!

Therefore when it finally comes voting time
I hope you'll remember this fun little rhyme
A vote for Maxwell is a vote for a friend
A vote for Phil/Rosa is a vote for the end.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my adapted poem as much as I enjoyed writing it. Maxwell Hanz was Party President when I joined the SFP, and I'm looking forward to seeing him as our Party President again.
