Liebe Parteimitglieder und Freunde,

zuerst einmal möchte ich mich für die Stimmen und das damit verbundene Vertrauen in diesem Monat bedanken. Auch wenn der Wahltag im Endeffekt spannender als geplant war bin ich mit dem Ergebnis mehr als zufrieden. Und das ist nicht die Tatsache, dass ich einen vermeidlichen Wahlsieg gegen Sonntagskind erringen konnte, sondern die Tatsache von über 90 abgegeben Stimmen. Das heißt für mich im Umkehrschluss, dass die Open Mind Germany (OMG) gar nicht so inaktiv ist wie so oft behauptet.

Zu dem Wahlkrimi mit Sonntagskind noch eine kurze Erklärung. Es war von ihm selber nie geplant sich um den Posten des Parteipräsidenten zu bewerben. Durch einen Fehler kam er trotzdem auf die Liste. Nach Gesprächen am Wahltag haben wir uns darauf verständigt, dass er den Posten auch ausübt, sollte er gewählt werden. Damit wär ich mehr als nur zufrieden gewesen, da ich Sonntagskind für einen exzellenten Parteipräsidenten und Organisator halte. Nichts desto trotz muss ich mich bei Sonntagskind und Kalif Batan bedanken. Sie haben am Wahltag maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass ich im Endeffekt so viele Stimmen bekommen habe. Danke dafür!



Die Kongresswahlen für diesen Monat stehen vor der Tür. Wir haben diesen Monat wieder das große Los gezogen, dass die letzten Kongresswahlen des Jahres auf den 1.Weihnachtstag fallen. Da an diesem Tage viele Spieler weniger am PC sind als gewöhnlich, brauchen wir so viel Mithilfe bei der Wahldurchführung wie möglich.

Hierfür lade ich alle OMG Mitglieder in das eDeutsche Forum und den OMG Bereich ein. Hier wird die Kongresswahl für den Dezember 2011 geplant. Außerdem finden hier immer wieder Diskussionen zu aktuellen politischen Diskussionen und Planungen von Parteiaktionen statt.

Dear Party members and friends,

First of all I want to say thank you for your vote and trust for this month. Even so the Election Day was more exciting than expected I am more than happy with the result. This is not connected with the fact, that I got more votes than Sonntagskind, more than I am positive surprised by looking on the number of total votes. This shows me, that the Open Mind Germany (OMG) is not as inactive as some people might think.

I want to say some words to the election fight with Sonntagskind. He didn´t want to candidate for party president. It was a bug that he could get voted. Never the less he has done a lot to get votes for my person. We had a quick chat in the morning and agreed that whoever will win the election is doing the job. I was more than happy with this solution, because I think Sonntagskind would be a great party president and organizer. The fact that Sonntagskind did not want to do the job and I was proposed as official candidate, I got more votes in the end. At this point I want to thank Sonntagskind and Kalif Batan for coordinating some votes for me. Thanks a lot!



Same procedure as every month. Congress elections are coming up in one week. As every year the Election Day is taking place on the first Christmas Day. On this day players are less active. So it is even more important to have a good plan for this day. I would like to invite every OMG member to participate in the planning process in the OMG board area.

If you are not interested in the congress election you are also invited to join the OMG group in the eGerman board and taking part in political discussions, other elections or planning OMG activities.
