[Mann4CP] A Cabinet to Swear By

Below you will find my proposed cabinet should you, as eCanadians, choose to elect a Mann551 government. I believe that this cabinet holds within itself a diversity of opinions and yet the ability to work together for the ultimate benefit and growth of the nation. While I realize today is April Fool's, this cabinet is no joke, it is the real thing.

Proposed Cabinet for April/May Term

Prime Minister - chopp dks

Chop has shown his dedication to Canada and his knowledge on the matters that are going on. He also typically starts the congress private message, which facilitates greater communication between congress and the executive of government. I believe he will do his job efficiently and effectively, being my right-hand man and helping to ensure communication between all branches of government.

Minister of Foreign Affairs - thedillpickl (deputy: Michelle Jorgensen)

Thedillpickl offered to help someone else in Foreign Affairs, but due to unexpected events, he has graciously offered to step up and take on the role more fully. I trust he will do well, and I’ll be there to help him with the heavy lifting as well. Michelle Jorgensen has also offered to step up to the plate and help in the this role as deputy. I look forward to working with both of them.

Minister of Redistribution/Minister of Finance - Bryan Alexander

Back in the day Bryan was great at doing financial stuff for eCanada, being Minister of Finance and also being the comptroller for a number of months making sure that money was where it was supposed to be, and not disappearing. He will be my Minister of Redistribution and I trust he will do a magnificent job. He has already been hard at work preparing a budget to present as soon as the election is won.

Minister of Offence/Minister of Defence - Derakor

Derakor has recently returned to the game and in having discussions with him on Discord (Join the Discord here!) he has shown that he has a great desire to increase activity in Canada and help it and it’s citizens to grow and every citizen operate at their full potential. His passion and ideas are what got him his position here and I look forward to seeing him implement his ideas throughout the month.

Minister of Health - Derakor (deputy: Michelle Jorgensen)

Again, Derakor has some great ideas and is super passionate about what can be accomplished in this field. While there are some who disagree with the idea or how it will be accomplished, I am allowing him this opportunity to test drive it. For those who might not know, this is the Wellness Assistance Program which has been running for the past number of weeks. In addition, Michelle Jorgensen has shown some interest in getting more involved and requested to be part of the Ministry of Health. She will be working with Derakor throughout the term.

Minister of History/Minister of Education - Exalted Druid

ED has been around for as long as time can remember, or longer. He has a wealth of knowledge and information about eCanada and our history. I look forward to the learning which will be done over the month about where eCanada has been and what has shaped who we are as a country today!

Minister of the Unimpressed - Ardikus V2

As mentioned in my article outlining my platform for this term, I have introduced a Ministry of the Unimpressed. Headed by Ardikus, the purpose of this position is to force the government to be held accountable for all actions and to give those who disagree with the course the government is taking a voice within cabinet. If you were to ever have an issue about what the government is doing, you would talk to Ardikus if you were scared to talk with me, or myself since I’m CP. Either way, know you will be listened to. There is a place for respectful dissent. To snuff that out would be to stifle the development of new ideas.

There are no points for discord. There are most definitely people in this cabinet who do not like to use outside means of communication. While I was able to garner activity levels and toss ideas around much more easily by using discord, it was not a factor in whether someone was part of the cabinet or not.

Garner? Odd choice of words. Gathering erep activity data based on whether or not people log onto your chat channel seems a tad presumptious. Especially considering you've essentially paid people to participate on your site. Anyway, best of luck I suppose.

Hey bud. Thanks for the spelling lesson, but as you can clearly see, I didn't write gamer either. May be time to wipe your screen or something. In any case, my point was that it doesn't really seem logical to gaRNer , (ie, colllect, gather, form-up, capture, etc) data about erep activity on an external chat site with a handful of users. That's all. No need to think too much into it. Ho Hurm. Hahah

My bad. It is difficult to find ways to gauge people's activity levels, and so I used the resources that I had most available to me, that is all
