[CP] From the Desk of the President

The Week That Was

This past week has been relatively quiet, but there has been a lot of action happening as well on my end of it. This is why there are updates, so that you know that I’m not just sitting around staring at that brand new swanky CP medal you all gave me. So here are some updates about what has happened over the course of the past week:

-Monday April 9, I snatch the budget from congress and give the go-ahead to publish the budget. Unfortunately, my Minister of Finance has been busy in real life and has yet to publish it for the public’s perusal. You will find the budget below.

-The United States have been successfully plundered, leaving nary a region for them to play in. This was done by Croatia, Ireland, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Egypt, Thailand, Latvia, and Lithuania, and now Hungary, Slovenia and Romania have made late arrivals. While you would have thought that we should have joined in, it would not have been tactical, since the US would have used our cores as a place of refuge from the big mean other nations. This would have evoked the defence pact and possibly pulled Romania and Serbia into the front of the conflict, which nobody really wanted to have happen. So we sat on the sidelines and enjoyed.

-I have been having discussions with many a people about engaging in a war with someone for some very weak reasoning, but to this point, there has not been a very clear cut choice. I would list a few countries that have crossed the table as potential targets, but that might give too much information away to the foreign public. But know that my team and I are working on it.

The Week To Come

Here is a brief look at the things that I can potentially see on the horizon of this next week coming up:

-Resets, a big thing that is happening this month. I believe the resets with Romania and Serbia will potentially be happening later this week, or early next week. When they do start, be sure to watch for Battle Orders from the Ministry of Offence/Defence. You can Subscribe to the Ministry of Defence Newspaper by clicking on these blue words and then hitting the subscribe button in the top right corner once you are there.

-Also with Resets, we will be helping our friends over in Estonia with renting their region Louna-Eesti to Russia. It was just yesterday taken in a resistance war, and we will be taking a flight over there to assist them in renting the region back. There will be no lack of Canadian battles over the course of all these resets. This will take place shortly after the resets with Romania and Serbia begin.

-On that note I would like to point out that the Airstrike takes 14 days to be usable again, which means that as much as we are looking for a war to take part in, it seems unlikely that we will be able to do it within this CP term. I apologize to those of you wanting action. As I said before, my team and I will be on the lookout for anything which we can do in the course of this term.

With that, I hope you are pleased with this update. If you have any questions or comments, lay them out down in the comments or send me a pm. I will do my best to answer your questions or address your concerns over the course of the next few days.
