Seriously, I have to write about this like every day. It's kind of getting annoying. I can get over the annoyance when we win though. Congratulations to China for pulling off the win. Honestly, China has rocked in V2. I look forward to seeing more of their victories.
New Speaker of the House
Necros Xiabawww, the former Speaker of the House has been impeached. There is currently a vote being undertaken to determine the new Speaker. Prominent candidates include Ligtreg and Dr. Tango. We'll be sure to keep you informed.
State Department Updates
Secretary's note: This has been written by a new writer, burningreen. I look forward to having on the team to write things when I don't have the time. Like tonight! Minionmaxxxx.
On 8/27/10, due to real life issues, Secretary of State Devan Kronos stepped down from his position. We'd like to thank Devan for his time and look forward to his return to activity some time down the road. Deputy Gulden Draak stepped in to fill the position and is now our Secretary of State. Congratulations to him. In his three days he has hit the ground running putting into motion plans he has of improving the State Department. His highest priority right now making the Department work more efficiently than it currently does. At the moment there is too much work for too little people, resulting in several of our hardest, best workers feeling overwhelmed. Secretary Gulden aims to correct this situation by spreading the work around and by bringing in more qualified individuals. At the present time department is examining it's those who serve it to determine those who deserve a promotion. They are also looking to bring in fresh blood.
If you feel that you would make a good ambassador they are taking applications now.

When asked what the long term goals for the Department of State were, Gulden Draak was quick to express his desire to have an ambassador in every eNation, including those that are not on friendly terms with the eUS. He's on his way to accomplishing his goal. We wish him the best of luck.
