United We STAND Divided We FALL

A dark day.


I sit here looking over the map of erepublik and I see a darkness has descended for Canada and it’s allies. After weeks of unbelievable Canadian resistance Spain has finally taken it personal and directed the entirety of it forces, and even the help of some of it’s allies, on wiping Canada from the map. We stand on the brink of destruction.
I look down past the floundering giant that is USA to Central America and again I see a sad sight. The Columbians, once a nation to be reveled at for it’s amazing ability to hold off insurmountable odds, lays a wasteland occupied by the Mexican army.
Looking to the east is no better. I see Portugal, suppressed by the same Spanish army that seeks to destroy us. France, under the tyrannical rule of the Reich-like polish empire. The Scandinavian Peninsula, under control of either the British navy or being swarmed by polish armies. Ukraine, Greece, turkey, all divided and on the retreat. It is a Dark day.
What can be done when you are on the loosing side? In a game where heroics equals RL money out of the bank and the high ground does not exist.
Nothing? No. There is something.
We can stand united. The one strategic advantage that is given in this game is unity. Unity makes the difference if you win a war or if you lose. timing is the way i which the high ground is given to one side or the other. We cannot help our many floundering allies if we cannot help ourselves.



I am putting a call out to all Canadians and supports of us in this war to act as one. We saw it at the start; organization and a clear message shouted by hundreds of voices. We can still put up more of a fight then we are now.
I call on our government and it's people to give themselves a shake. What I’ve seen get progressively worse over the last few days is a sense of defeat, that we cant win this war. It is that thinking that will get us wiped in twice the time.
If we can defeat the enemy in a full on battle like at Manitoba then we can win these Resistance wars. Rylde, when you said you had a plan for Spain and to hold your damage you had the right idea, we need to have that sort of organization again. We need the MU captains to be shouting out where to fight and the supplies for battles to be activated. We need articles appealing to people to donate to the merc fund and then we needed those articles to be shouted out. We are not wiped yet let us not act like it.

To end it off I would like to salute all Canadians efforts so far. We have fought hard and wanting it to just be the end is natural. But it is not the end. We must continue to give this war our all and to fight in unison. Let us show our enemies we are not yet beaten.
