The Balance of Power: Day 1493

Day 1,493, 18:00 Published in Australia Australia by Tyler96
Middle East

Turkey has overrun much of Iran with very little opposition, with the Iranians having only won 1 mini-battle in total thus far. Turkey’s conquests, in conjunction with China’s wipe of Pakistan and training war has successfully foiled Macedonia’s attempt to conquer India and create a secure base on Chinese borders.

If Macedonia is still hoping to achieve this goal they will need to battle through the territory of formidable enemies in Turkey and China, a far cry from swapping through the friendly territories of Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. All the conquering powers continue to deal with various resistance wars, which have been mostly unsuccessful, with the exception of Cyprus regaining its independence from Macedonia yesterday.

South Africa

Brazil and Indonesia are now facing off between their two respective halves of South Africa, with a battle currently underway in the Northern Cape. Whilst resistance forces are attempting to disrupt Indonesia and Brazilian-occupied North West Province is being returned to South Africa so they may have congressional elections.

Southeast Asia

Indonesia could soon face a war on two fronts, with China now invading ONE-aligned Thailand with a view to attacking Indonesia, this being possible because China has trekked down the eastern coast of India in their region swap/training war.

Singapore and Malaysia are also involved in a training war.

Other

Brazil could also face a two-front war in the near future, with Argentina’s expulsion from Spain becoming complete with the fall of the Canary Islands to a resistance war. This opening up South or Central America to Spanish invasion into Brazil, Croatian-held Mexico or Portuguese-held Venezuela, alternatively, they may pursue other options on the European continent.
