For the last few months there's been no other decent candidates out there. In case people have forgotten, the eight month TUP stretch began in January when the two CP candidates who topped the vote (one of whom was a Pirate) couldn't be arsed to do the job and JW had to pick up the slack for them, even though he hadn't even run for CP. There have been very few people willing to put in the effort over the last year or two, and those that do frequently seem to find it's a mammoth task where they get nothing but flak in return and burn out before their term is over. This is an eUK trend, not just a TUP one.
Well then, people shouldn't run for CP promising to do big things and massive activity and crap...
Also, nothing against the TUP stretch, jamesw was OK, had nothing against him, but then came the "saviour" of the eUK Spite with all talk and nothing else, same as MIK. Plus UKsF did what he promised when elected, Wayne nominated him, but he said don't vote for me, I won't do anything, if I get elected - impeach me...done 😁
And being CP is nothing special of you don't have a war, if the country is not in a war, basically you don't have to do anything, you send some messages around and that's all...
Not disagreeing with anything you've said there (you'd know better than me what being a CP involves), I was just responding to the idea that CP failure is a TUP thing because they're the biggest party so whoever they put forward gets elected regardless of merit.
