TAKE OUT THE E-MIDDLE MAN

Day 1,591, 10:43 Published in Greece Greece by MichailArchangel

Only a few months after the introduction of Q6 products, and just when we thought that we’ve seen it all in this game, Plato decided to go further and introduce the Q2 training centers. With this upgrade offer, Erepublic made it crystal clear, once again, that all it matters is …… buying gold! No doubt about this!

With this in mind, I expect MAJOR changes in the game …… soon.

First of all, this seemingly innocent “automatic currency conversion” targeted all the players who, instead of BUYING gold, were MAKING it in the currency exchange market. Your bid is in the 564th page now, waiting to expire! You can’t make gold in the currency exchange, so go buy some gold now!

By solving this problem, however, the admins (or game designers, whatever!) created another.
Now ANY player with even the smallest warehouse can buy products from USA or Poland or Turkey or any other country, without having to convert money. Then he can sell them in his local market and make a decent profit. You don’t need factories, raw companies, workers and money for wages, just enough TIME to send messages to food or weapon manufacturers, bargain a decent (and tax-free price), donate the money, receive the product, and resell it for a nice, effortless profit. Now if you put enough effort to risk carpal tunnel syndrome, you can become the ultimate “e-middle man” and make TONS of money with NO investment.

If you are unfortunate enough to have citizenship of a country with 20% land bonus, and your factory is not worth running, don’t worry, you can buy food and weapons from Greece where bonuses are 80%. This way, we are slowly transitioning from the local market to ONE global market. Product prices will be more or less the same around the world, and the more players wake up and trade, the more prices will merge around the national markets.

It does not take a genius to realize that elimination of the national market means elimination of the land bonuses! Countries fight so its citizens have a high land bonus and make lots of weapons. If ANYONE can come and buy from the market, and all local rules of supply and demand are eliminated, then …. WHY FIGHTING????
This tiny change of the fixed exchange rates and automatic conversion is violently shaking the very foundations of this game.

It is only a matter of time before They implement another twist, another rule, tax, something that will restore the order. They will do so not only because the motivation behind fighting wars is drifting away, but MAINLY because players who should be buying gold are making gold instead. If you have bought enough gold to make Q6 companies, They might let you get away with some profit. But if all you have is some Q3 or Q4, a few raw farms and a small warehouse, and you make 10 gold a day by being an e-middle man, be aware that changes will come sooner or later. Just ask all the smart players who got 1 Q6 company and 200 raw farms and thought they would hire and fire 200 workers daily and make THOUSANDS of products. These players will tell you: “Well, it was good while it lasted. We made tons of cash!”. They thought they would hire and fire forever. They were wrong.
The e-middle man will soon be a thing of the past.

Next article will be about the new Bazooka. Oh yeah….. it’s coming! Chuck Norris said so!

Chuck Norris does not go to the gym, the gym comes to him, equipped with free-weights, exercise machines of all kinds, and a personal trainer that cannot keep her buttocks covered.
