Unfortunately I think that UK bowed to terror. He was slaughtered on a street with a lot of people nearby who just watched, I hope that next time when something like this happens again, murderers will get stoned/slaughtered by angry mob.
cos unarmed, untrained, scared and confused passers by are really going to react and know how to deal with a man being driven off suddenly and then hacked to death and beheaded in a flash? The people however confronted the terrorists and probably stopped them from threatening the lives of more people. That is not 'bowing' down, it is standing up.
Please provide me with a plan to confront 2 men armed with several melee weapons and a gun, who you just witnessed run down and behead a soldier.
Just ignore him he's a troll. Nearly all of his comments were deleted from Dappers paper.
You are going to have stop looking at American films and thinking they are real life matey. Anyway apart from that, my commiserations to the guys family and heartfelt sorry from ireland about this tragedy.
RIP
As tragic as this is, do we really need it in an article in a game...
it's to show reaspect if you don't like it it's tough isn't it
Lol at the General..A congressman for NE the beacon of democracy...If you don't like it, tough. NE vilified other parties for statements like this.
Niko you have no shame we have a print screen of you saying LOL to this article , on a shout , what is wrong with you ? sub human maybe ?
he was loling at the comments... not at the content of the article. My god you New Era boys will grasp onto anything you can!
Winston I will give you 10 gold to prove what you said. I can catergorically say you are wrong and call you a liar. I have never posted any shout in relation to this article. You maybe be referring to Dappers article where I am loling at Martinoz comments which are now all deleted due to his insane bigotry. You will also find the link in the shout was to the comments and not the article.
Now the only sub human aspect I see is you for not engaging your brain prior to writing. Another bigot just like Martinoz - The Orange Order. loser.
This is a statement towards WayneKerr's comment it as nothing to do with politics so why are you trying to bring it to this article?
Just highlighting the fact that a person with responsibility in the game (congress) you should be a bit more careful with your responses. With all comments you make you are representing congress and should be aware of that.
Typical answer from a typical NE member Niko. You know what they get like bro...
R.I.P o/
Rispect
ugh, please don't bring real life politics into a game. It's a great shame that he died, but it is a greater shame that he devoted his career to an organisation that kills thousands of innocent people each year. I wish everyone would stop killing each other. Bring our troops home!
Yes because British troops are the ones detonating IED's...
Look,no one asked them to come to Afghanistan, right?
no British troops are the ones dropping bombs. Unfortunately bombs do not discriminate between Taliban and bystanders. And as Muhammad says what are we even doing in Afghanistan? The situation there is no far worse than before we 'intervened'.
Because of course Afghanistan was a bastion of democracy and freedom when the Taliban were running the show. At least now the people of that country have a slim hope of a better future.
Muhammad, if the government of a country were to strike at the UK right now, you can be guaranteed a full scale military invasion of their country would be planned and executed by NATO forces. This is what happened in Afghanistan after 9/11 occurred.
Elvis, you might be wanting to know that the UN places the Taliban and their allies to be responsible for 80% of all civilian deaths in Afghanistan for 2011 and 2012. That number has been increasing as US/UK allied forces scale back their operations, and better target their strikes.
BeeDee perhaps you are not aware of the current situation in Afghanistan. The future for the people of that country is now looking far worse. The Taliban weren't good, but they at least kept the Warlords at bay. Now that the country is destabilised the warlords will return to power and people will once again be forced to grow poppies, a practice that the taliban banned. The country will split into different regions, where different warlords rule and an informal civil war will take place. We have made the situation worse, not better.
Afghanistan is not responsible for 9/11, neither in fact is the Taliban. 9/11 was orchestrated by Al-Qaeda. You cannot lump all of them into the same group.
Yes I am aware that most of the civilian casualties are caused by the Taliban, but that does not detract from the amount we kill which is still a significant number. Secondly there wouldn't be so many people dying if we hadn't started this pointless war.
Elvis Trout- "as Muhammad says what are we even doing in Afghanistan?"
If "what are caucasian christians doing in Afghanistan?" is a legitimate question.
Then it would be fair to ask what these guys are doing in Britain too.
[removed]
Only he is clearly referring to the British Armed Forces and not Caucasian Christians. There is a big difference.
the Afghani Armed forces are not in our country.
I want to make 1 thing pretty clear to almost everyone out there.
Look,Muslim or non-Muslim the person who did this had no valid reason for this.
And,Islam does not urge anyone to do this sorta crap, its their personal judgement and not any sort of teaching of our religion.
So,blame the indivisual only,plz.
A religion cannot kill anyone, only people can. Only idiots are blaming Islam for this.
It's actually the teaching of most religions, Old & New Testament, Talmud and Torah and Quran. There are, for example, many verses in the Quran calling for war with non-believers:
http://www.usc.edu/org/cmje/religious-texts/quran/verses/002-qmt.php#002.191
Actually, thats just one side of the story. The thing is many people including u dont know the actual thing. You guys just read one part and thats it,u start judging it.
Now there are three types of Jiha😛
1- Internal Jihad ( fighting against one's own selfish and evil desires)
2- Intellectual Jihad (trying to have a debate with a person who is mislead ,eg in this case)
3- The Jihad against non-believers ( there are three conditions for this a- when Muslims living in a non-Muslims country are threatened just due to their belief,b-when the spreading of Islam is threatened,c- when any non-Muslim country invades Muslim country).Even in this type of Jihad there are several conditions to fulfilled, their should be an able leader,a single indivisual or a small group is not to take part in these type of Jihad etc etc.Even in proper warfare ,old men ,children, women not taking part i war of non-beleivers are not to be touched, nor their temples should destroyed and so on.
PS😕ook bro,I have not stated any of this info.. from my own.I just agve CIE for ISLAMIAT on 7th and 14th and this section JIHAD was included in it.
And I sincerely do think that a person should get all the info. before judging ANYTHING.
There are loads of contradictions in all of those books, but in certain places they all encourage the slaughter of non-believers. You can take what you want from them, but some will always interpret them as giving a green light to slaughter.
but whether or not a book contains incitement to kill (as I understand it most fo the inflammatory quotes from the Koran are taken out of context from specific section that deals with war and is not a general purpose command to kill) words cannot harm people, a person still has to decide to do so. And that person is at fault.
The way I see it, It is sad that he died. But it is a measured response to what we do out there. We're not innocent and we've killed a lot of innocent people out there. A lot of people don't know this, but a British Soldier smuggled in alcohol, got drunk and stabbed an innocent child in the kidneys and he's been unable to do anything. He wasn't taken to our hospital in Bastion despite it was one of our soldiers that attacked him for no valid reason. I would also refrain from using the phrase "Hero" as there is nothing heroic invading someone's country. The job isn't finished but it never will be. If you all want to do some History, the fault of this is actually the Americans, not the Taliban. The Taliban wouldn't have had the means to do what they have done if the Americans didn't have over $3,000,000,000 in CIA training and Arms. So please, learn the history of Afghanistan before you start spouting the bullcrap. He knew what he was signing up for, and while It is sad that he died, we are in no position to even start judging them for their religion. This guy was Nigerian, not Afghani. However he fought in the name of the Religion the Taliban do. Now whether any of you like it or not, this is the reality of war. There is no more pitched battles, there aren't any "rules" to war. War is mindless killing of another human being under the shroud of some political or religious front. Dress it up anyway you want. It is still killing. And it needs to stop.
Hes a fucking hero because he decided to do more with his life than do the daily grind, or go on the dole. If hes anything like most who join up, he didn't join to kill or to go the afghan, but joined because he wanted to serve his country and do something worthwhile with his life.
You don't like the politics then fair enough, but its got fuck all to do with Drummer Rigby and those brave enough to choose to serve.
RIP A HERO.
well you can call it 'choosing to serve', others might equally call it 'agreeing to kill people for money' which isn't quite so heroic
You've watched to many war films if you think thats all a soldier does, and you wouldn't be looking down on those men who 'agree to kill people for money' if this country was genuinely threatened.
Something worthwhile with his life. Killing someone in the name of a political agenda. I'm joining the Intelligence Corps after University. Why? I wish to protect our country from real threats. Threats to our databases and to our documents. No blood.
Real threats? A cunt with a gun is pretty fucking real.
Honestly good luck sitting on your arse playing with maps. A word of advise though, you cut about with your attitude and you won't last a day.
The killer did not say that he did this in the name of any religion afaik, correct me if I'm wrong.
Actually he did, explicitly
You're right, he does, my mistake.
RIP
All those who join our armed forces, I salute you.
To find out what soldiers face in Afghanistan, see this video from Russia 1:40 min! Unfortunately no English subtitles but the staff speak for themselves! Short film follows the battle route 9 Company of the Pskov Regiment in Afghanistan in 1988-89 years.
