Resource Wars II - Day 3102 [01:00] - oily KFC!
Ilene Dover
Let’s skip the preamble shall we? You’re all ehre for the resource tracking…
🙂
Some observations and comments, with two and a bit weeks left to run.
1. The new resource is still the most popular. Three quarters of the Unobtanium (sorry, Neodymium) has been released already. The first went to Pakistan, with the second going to Poland. Japan took the third yesterday, in the aptly named Kinki region.
2. Weapons are still the least released resource.
3. Nine (from seventeen) rubber resources have been released. These have gone to South America (Peru and Argentina), Europe (Poland, Spain, Portugal and Russia), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) and Asia (The Philippines and Thailand). Well done to these countries!
4. Twelve (from twenty four) deer resources have been released. Europe (Portugal, Russia, Germany, Spain, Croatia and Estonia), North America (USA and Cuba), Asia (China and Australia) and eastern Mediterranean (Egypt and Turkey) have taken these.
5. Four (from seven) granite resources have been claimed, going to Eurasia (Russia and Georgia), North America (USA) and Europe (Spain). Georgia and the USA have a fully-stacked housing resource region.
6. Very common resources are not being released in as great quantities as the other types. More amusingly, the dreaded "fish pile" of unwanted and unloved resources is growing...
7. Clay and Titanium (both 58% allocated) and Neodymium (75% allocated) are the least available resources. I’m sure the relative difficulty of obtaining Neodymium surprises nobody.
How is the eUSA doing?
Could be better. Could be worse. Unobtanium remains unobtained… We have one last chance at it!
Food
Food is our best supplied industry, which hasn't changed for awhile. We have all five of the five resources (Deer, Grains, Cattle, Fruits and Fish) for an overall national bonus of 100%. Our maximum region bonus is 90% in Nebraska. It won’t get any better than that, bonus wise!
Weapons
We’ve taken the unrestricted resources of Aluminium, Iron and Oil. That gives us a national bonus of 45% and a maximum region bonus of 35% (in Kentucky). Honestly it would’ve been weird not to have oil in the “home” of KFC...
That leaves us Saltpeter and Rubber to win. These are heavily contested resources...
Housing
A few days back we rounded out our housing resources (yep, a full house!). What does that mean? Housing now has a national bonus of 100% from having five of five resources (granite, limestone, clay, wood and sand). Adding a second Wood in Washington has our housing regional bonus tapping out at 90%. Good job!
New industry
Our last addition was Wolfram a few days ago. With magnesium from right near the start of the Resource Wars, that gives us a 30% national bonus and a maximum regional bonus of 20% in Utah.
The last Unobtanium is out there...
Are you unhappy with how things are progressing? The potential for change is in your hands!
Listen to the DoD shouts and read their newspaper. Follow your MU orders - always always check before hitting. Sometimes we want to be losing battles. Don’t be the idiot TP and BH chaser. More importantly, go here if you care enough to face IRC.
Comments
where do you get how many of a resource will be released?
How many will be released is in the main documentation for resource wars. Click the timer and read the first page.
ok thx did not figure that numbers out. and thx for keeping track of it ilene
Looks like we are doing quite well, all things considered
Yes and no. Things could be worse, sure. Let's wait a week or two before I tell you what I think might happen in the eUS re: taxes and companies
From a purely resource based point of view we have taken 18 so far, which is the most in the world. Doesn't get much better than that
Tried hard for saltpeter, but screwed up in the last few minutes 🙁
Gave it our best shot though.

Great information and summary. Voted.
