The government is clueless on the economy side of eUK; how do they expect us to become a nation to attract people with their bogus tax strategies?
Firstly, if you're unaware they are detracting from foreign investment through ridiculously high import taxes, why will anyone want to trade with us, and help us out, with such high taxes when countries have much lower tax on goods?
If the economy is to be moving they should reduce the tax foreign investors.
Secondly, the minimum wage: how do they expect us citizens to spend money if we don't have any to spend?! The government isn't helping themselves in the terms of VAT, why would an employer want to pay so highly when they can get away with low wages that would leave anyone in poverty!
Furthermore, they're setting up trade embargoes with France, they have a minor population compared with Poland, Serbia and Brazil. Surely it would be more helpful trading with bigger countries, than ones that are meager in comparison with smaller amounts of goods to trade with!
I will once again repeat the message: this government is clueless, they are the flagship sailing directly into the torrent of economic dis-certainty!
If you want someone with sense running the country vote GBDP!
