Q7 company upgrade
gbr_blue
As a proud member of Crimson Order, I receive some q6 weapons. With q7, my damage is 32179/hit, with q6 is 23598/hit. The difference, for 130 fights, is 1115530. This margin can be decisive in a close battle (I am sure we all have seen those damn 49.99/50.01 in the last seconds).
So, I propose to create a development fund for q7 weapons company upgrade.
My humble contribution is 50 gold.
I am waiting suggestions from MU colleagues.
Fight hard and eat your vitamins (bars)!
The victory will be ours!

good stuff!
Top 100 should never get less then q7, its a waste...
50 gold? Would only need 7,950 more gold. The amount of WRM required is so ridicules it would cost $2,750 real life American dollars to buy enough RW factories to produce enough WRM for all 50 members to work in q7 factories. Not calculating in the cost of the Q7 factory because that is the easy part.
Exalted, well then the fact that a Gold sale started today is good news for your MU's Q7 aspirations. CoI is in the same situation ~ even after upgrading a few factories to Q7, the WRM costs are prohibitive. We'd need to buy Gold to pay for the WRM costs, or have all our members contribute the WRM to make the Q7s.
But the dumb part is, you can just as easily sell the WRM and buy Q7s these days. The cost is about the same.
One thing to note in your calculations is that the Q7's do give you 10 hits instead of 6, so you could supply each member with 60% as many tanks and still get as many hits while getting more damage. It also makes the WRM consumption a little less ridiculous.
If they came up with a q7 WRM factory that allowed 50 workers we are in.
Mr. Exalted Economist, I am talking about upgrading a q6 company to a q7 one. The costs today are 450 gold. Soon we will have offers from Plato like "xx% discount for company upgrade", so the costs will be even lower. Regarding operation cost, a big part of them are usually supported from the governmental fund, like in all important MU. And do not forget, for 130 fights we need 13 q7 weapons or 21.66 q6.
When this offer will start, I will support the full cost for upgrading a company. For all that costs there is MasterCard. The damage boost against Spain, priceless...
With WRM at 0.03 CAD it costs us 9.6 CAD to make a Q7 (6 CAD for the WRM and 3.6 CAD for wages.)
On the other hand, we can buy a Q7 for 8.4 CAD - saving us 1.2 CAD (which gives us one "extra" Q7 for every four we buy compared to if we tried to produce them.)
Granted, we could drop wages to next to nothing, and then buying WRM and producing would make more sense. That could create a few complications with the number of companies and workers we have, though, but I'm sure we could figure out how to find a balance between producing Q7s and buying them.
The big reason to be resistant to this from myself and a lot of others is that that would mean we are very reliant on government funding. If that ever dries up (which it has before) then what are we to do? We'd have to move a lot of workers over to WRM production to try to cover Q7 production. At that point I think it would make more sense to produce Q6s, since we are pretty much capable of completely covering the WRM for that, instead of Q7s - but if we start upgrading Q6s then we won't have enough companies to switch back to Q6 production.
However, when it comes down to it any decision that involves the slave pits is 100% up to JRC. He has put more than enough money in to TCO to deserve that respect. So, if you really want to see something come of this, contact him and discuss this with him through PM (I don't believe he checks the media module too often.)
Wages are 10 CAD - It costs about 80 cents in labour per weapon, which brings your production cost to $6.80, $8.80 is the WRM reaches 4 cents
If someone is getting Q6's and wants Q7's, simply sell your Q6's and buy Q7's
Simple enough concept
Ah, right - forgot to divide the wage by 12. Slave pit wages are only 3.6 CAD, though, not 10 - so that's 6.3 CAD per Q7.
Also, JRC just pointed out on the forums how much WRM would need to be purchased daily to switch to Q7s - and at the current funding levels we could sustain that for about a week out of every month (assuming funding stays the same), so it really just won't work right now.
i do not think produce q7 it's a good business. I do not produce nothing, it's cheaper to buy.
With 450 gold for a upgrade you can buy easlly 20.000 Q7
