Population Statistics 7th July. No signs of improvement.

Day 2,056, 04:45 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado

Hello eRepublik. So far so good with my promise of publishing an article every two weeks! The statistics this week are for grim reading as the majority of countries lost citizens in what looks like another mass shift away from the game due to boredom.

If you have any requests on particular stats that you would like me to look into (as in focussing on particular countries, alliances etc) then tell me in the comment section and I will try to look into it!

For new readers of my article

I attempt to gather latest figures on the population. Every two weeks I compare the last set of data with the newest set and identify the best and worst performers.

If someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article.

Votes and Comments are always welcome. Subscribe if you’re new here! If you want to be really awesome you should shout this article out. It helps the paper grow and it indicates interest in the series. (Which motivates me to put the effort in to publish them every now and then 😛)

If you vote AND comment you get entered into a prize draw (details below)

These graphs show the data in the table above in a format easier for the eyes.

As you can see from the data above the last two weeks of eRepublik have resulted in losses for a majority of the countries. One country that really stood out though was Brazil who gained 3120 citizens overtaking Argentina to take back the 1st place position in the rankings! Brazil were the only country to gain over 1000 citizens in this time and show that even in a time of decline in general for eRepublik they can still maintain a babyboom. This leaves Brazil with a 19% growth for the last two weeks (which is the second highest growth out of all countries). Congratulations Brazil and good luck with the latest boom!

Notable mentions this week were difficult to decide upon because in reality every country apart from Brazil didn’t do great. I decided to note that Serbia, Hungary and Croatia were our notable candidates in the end as they were the only countries (apart from Brazil) to actually gain citizens in the top 20 in the last two weeks.

The loser this week is unfortunately Mexico, our notable mentions from the last edition as they lost 600 citizens have lost another 2400 this time and continue to slip down the rankings to 7th place (down by 3). Mexico had a contraction of 22.8% which is also fairly large, something you don’t usually see for a country in the top 10. Another week like this and Mexico could be out of the top 10 again.

Notable mentions for this edition are Argentina, who dropped down to 2nd place. Columbia and Peru also did not do well this week as they had a massive contraction of 18% and 23% respectively.

- We have a new 1st place country this week in Brazil.

- Only two of the top 10 countries (Brazil and Serbia) gained citizens this week.

- Biggest movers were India (+7) and Moldova (-7).

- The bottom 5 all lost citizens with the last 3 going into sub 200 figures.

- Japan and South Korea were once again the most stable countries with minor gains of 3 and 2 citizens. Very good considering the fate of other countries this week.

- eRepublik lost 11200 citizens in the last two weeks giving it a contraction of 5.1%! This is ten times bigger than last edition. eRepublik is still bleeding citizens.

Just some quick statistics on the top 5 countries in terms of population and growth changes.

Congrats to Jimbobfrey for winning the last contest. Please contact me for your prize. I used a random number generator to get the result.
