Polandball Election Special [SUI]
Brian Boru
It's congress election time once again, and Ireland has a choice to make!
Rather than give you a boring election manifesto, I put in a little more effort this month and present to you the United Irishmen Polandball Election Special!
RESISTANCE:
TLDR:
A vote for the Society of United Irishmen is a vote for aggressive use of our military in support of the resistance wars of our friends. With the changes to game mechanics in taxation and battle damage in long-occupied regions, we have an opportunity to make an impact like never before, with less risk to ourselves as well. That means we not only have the power to help, but the obligation to help as well.
NATIONAL AIRSTRIKE PROJECT:
Step one: Identify a friend in need
Step two: Gather our forces
Step three: Kick the weakest link to pieces
TLDR:
Ireland has many strong friends and allies, but is small herself. Among the many ways a small country can be useful to larger ones is providing cheap airstrikes. A vote for the United Irishmen is a vote for offering this service to our friends and allies!
ANGLO-IRISH DIPLOMACY
TLDR:
The Society of United Irishmen believes that the days of ceding territory to Britain are over. The changes to taxation mean that giving even a single region to Britain is the same as funding the occupation. The changes to resistance wars greatly improve our ability to fight occupation on our terms. While these changes remain in place, never should an Irish government cede territory to Britain.
MILITARY INNOVATION AND EXPANSION:
TLDR:
Ireland has long been known for innovation in the military realm. To date, we remain the only state to fully embrace the possibilities of communes. Expansion and improvement of our military must be a priority. Much progress has been made in this front, and more can be made.
YOUR VOTE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE:
So, if you believe in a strong, proactive Ireland, why not vote for the Society of United Irishmen on November 25th!

We need an "enemy of the State" list brought back, and those on it ostracized, castration would be even better..lol but most have nothing to cut off.

Good luck, all.
Australia is attacking Peru??
They were seriously considering hopping in on the invasion of Peru a while back, or so I was told. It's simply an example of how far Ireland can reach out to protect her friends, so I chose the most distant land possible.
I got the point of Ireland's reach to help her friends - and it is a good point too.
It was Ireland's spirit in the old days I found so attractive \o/
It is just the Australia considering an invasion of Peru concept.
Given Australia's circumstances it is the stuff daydreams are made of
our wars are either defensive of fighting for our freedom. and that has been the case as long as I have been playing here.
Hopefully when the next hard rain starts falling on Australia (soon, there is a regional bully looking for payback)
Ireland (or Irish players - we do happen to be allied with (blush) Britain - will come to our aid \o/
For the record I have never & will never fight against Ireland, Greece or the Ukraine
Yes, well, the old spirit is back baby. The possibilities are endless. Like Athens against the Persians, the defensive war is over. The offensive war must now be pursued in the most cunning ways possible.
I look forward to this \o/
