to be honest, austria is such a small nation whatever we do will not affect the end result, I say we act as if it where just another training war and up our exerience.

Say no to free experience and wellness boosts? You're kidding, right?

It may or may not effect the outcome of the invasion itself, but it will certainly effect our reputation. And it will put our fate with the rest of the aggressors - if they lose, as aggressors often do, the invaded nations will be right to act in self defense and counter invade.

And if we are with the aggressors, that means we could see yet another army waltzing into Austria, recapturing lands we just recently retook from the last world war we took sides in. It makes no sense to participate in this one.

Veronica V, it obviously isn't free, as I outlined in my earlier post. It comes with a very real cost. There is no shortage of training wars and war games... this one is the real thing, though, and taking sides in it will come with serious consequences for Austria.

I don't blame you for thinking that, however the past doesn't dictate the future. Austrians do not have to, and should not support PEACE should it decide to launch a war of aggression.

I think its about time, I'm tired of those two nations always talking trash, and meanwhile they know their safe from all attacks because of where they are located on the map.

So the UK can launch a war of aggression if they want. But it doesn't mean Austria has anything to gain by joining in with the aggressors.

I don't like the fact that our local papers no longer make it on to the front page. Keep up the good work.

As a eAmerican I find your position very hard. On one hand its clear that Hungray has and will do as they please with you, you exist and their benevolence, on the other hand they hold all the cards and if they decide to make you a target whats to stop them. You can rest assured however of two things. Not fighting in a war is never a good plan, especially if you are looking at starting a miliatary, and two you are so far down the list of targets for the North Americans I wouldn't much worry about them. If they win this thing its the eUK that is going to loose everything. (backstabbers). My suggestion, Move some players to the US, notify the US that you have moved some players to the US to nutrelize your damage, and then everyone still fight. In the end it will look to PEACE that you participated and to the US administration they will know you were basically using the war as training and hand no real impact one way or the other. Its true neutrality with all the benefits of war.

ps, love the fact that austria is english speaking, might be a move here someday to get in the middle of some european action, always seems more fun on this side of the pond.

The nation of Austria itself could certainly stay neutral. Theres no way to control players if they want to move elsewhere to fight, and further, there is never a shortage of training wars or war games going on. There is no need as a nation to fight in a war of aggression.

From a hungarian: Austria is our ally. We not going to attack it ( except for training or chep war open 🙂 ).
Of course we use some thing that help us ( like to open a war whit someone for less gold ), but its always agreed whit the Austrians. They have our help when they need ( protect from TO or any other army ).
If you dont fight in this war nobody will going to look bad at you. Its your chose.

Abpout the agressor: USA attacked 4 times ( Mexico, Portugal, Russia and France ) so we cant have a counter attack but they can? Nobody alowed to attack USA but they can fight against us anywhere? ( against Serbia freedom, or in the Netherlands, or in Russia )
I dont think its agression. Its a war game and to have the economy work well we have to have big wars. And for the entertaiment 🙂.
USA is looking forvered to it and we do it either. so why not fight in America. 🙂.
All the fights were in Europe or Asia. Let America have a little fun either 🙂.
