Many of you may have noticed and most of you probably didn't, but I have changed the name of my newspaper to Keepin' it REAL - and I am going to attempt to do so...

any yes, I STOLE the title of this article from a comment in Dade's announcement of 1ronman's guilt in the CND Defense org theft - I'll send my 2 Q1 weapons to "The Government of eCanada" immediately...

For those of you who don't know, I am a congressman for eCanada and the Vice Party President of the Canadian Empire Party. However I am also the owner of a small business known as The Hank Moody Gun Company - A Q1 weapons company

why Hank Moody? - Well to be honest if I started Erepublik today I would go under the name Hank Moody, one, because I love the show Californication, and two, because my nickname in RL is Hank because I apparently I show a striking resemblance to Henrik Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks...

I would like to personally thank 1ronman on behalf of all Q1 weapons companies in eCanada for single handedly screwing all of us over. I have had to slash prices, cut workers salaries and blow out inventory just to maintain cash flow to keep the doors open, Many other companies have not been so lucky...

I am not a rich erepublikan, I fortunately have one of the best bosses in eRepublik, John Rikus, who despite the economic downturn, has been able to keep my salary high, salary I can then invest into my Q1 weapons company to fund some of the losses thanks to 1ronman

Now, I don't have the luxury of fighting in training wars with Q1 weapons, let alone Q5's. I achieved Field Marshall long ago and I get the same amount of XP fighting with bare hands as I would with Q5's. Any further points in my damage totals would just be for pure Vanity, I will fight in the Wars that matter, for now, I spend my riches helping out members in my companies and in my party. 1ronman however seems to be completely about vanity, seems as he would steal the Q1 weapon off of a newb, if it got him 1 more XP

It does baffle me how close we came to 1ronman as CP. I remember when 1ronman announced his candidacy as a member of the CPF how offended I was as he did not give the CEP any apparent consideration. For those of you who do not know, The CPF has a regulation that you have to be a party member for 30 days before you can run for CP, but they could still endorse him if he ran for another party.

I thought what a great opportunity for the CEP. Now that we have become a top 5 party, we have been considering running our own candidate, rather than continually jumping on the bandwagon of the CPF vs DAL - round 12 or 13 monthly main event, however, If 1ronman had run under the CEP banner, the CPF and other parties would have been able to support him, combine that with all his CAF support, and well, we might have had us a dangerous new CP

I personally like the job that Dade Pendwyn has been doing, but I'm not sure the CEP can endorse a DAL candidate. I believe the world might come to an end, or at the minimum, the computer would crash for the CEP Party President that attempted to push teh button to do so, hard to say...

After the last election, seeing approx 150 votes for non CPF/DAL candidates, it appears eCanadians are seeking that alternative candidate and I had debated running myself for that post. Would I win an election for CP? - Hard to say...probably not, but I believe I would get a fair number of votes, and perhaps that possibility would allow the CEP to negotiate a few choice cabinet posts in leau of their own candidate for their support. We have a lot of great people in the party, and perhaps that would provide some of the change we need. We'll see what happens in this department in the next few weeks.....

For the future going forward, I will not refer to 1ronman as "Ironman", but rather one-ronman, because he only thinks of himself, and mainly because it sounds stupid, which is as it should be....

and as one-ronman pleads his innocence, I advise him to join OJ on the golf course as perhaps they can join forces as they both aggressively "search for the real killers..." What he killed, was the spirit of many of us eCanadians...

Hopefully he can join him soon in a jail cell - or as close to one as we in eRepublik can provide

I hope that I have been able to "Keep it Real" enough for all of you
