"Monarchy, a tale from the United Kingdom"

I suppose it would feel a bit weird to just jump straight forward in the article and start slinging interesting facts and important moments around so i figured that this piece should need some sort of introduction. I now realise that i'm already halfway through my introduction withouth actually giving one so i suppose i'll just get to it. This article is (obviously) about the history of the monarchy in the United Kingdom. It is the second part in what should become a full grown series of historical articles. Those who read my previous article know that i am a Belgian "refugee". The concept of a erepublik monarchy interests me and in my time back in Belgium it always managed to grasp my attention. For this reason i chose to try and create a simple, yet informative article about the UK monarchy.

The official start of the United Kingdom as a monarchy was on September 18 2009. The "Monarchy Act" got accepted by the house of commons and passed by the house of lords (a government organ that doesn't exist in the UK anymore). The act stated that the monarch would have absolute legislative and executive power. However, this power is executed by the CP and congress making the monarchy purely symbolic. At the beginning of the monarchy, real life British public figures were used as monarchs. On July 31st 2010 the Monarchy Act was adjusted, allowing citizens to be chosen as monarchs.

The first king of the UK was Stephen Fry. His full title was "His Britannic Majesty, King Stephen the First of the electronic United Kingdom". His "reign" lasted from the beginning of the monarchy untill February 2010. After him came two other non-citizen monarchs. These were Jeremy Clarkson & Rowan Atkinson who was the rightfull king up to the first of August 2010.

The time of monarchs being real-life figures had come to an end and the Monarchy Act was ammended. The people of the United Kingdom had decided to elect citizens of the eUK as their Kings. On the first of August 2010 Kumnaa got elected as citizen monarch, recieving the title of "Royal Britannic Highness the King of the electronic United Kingdom". However, his reign was quite short. On October 13 2010 his period as king was over.

This brings us to our final (and present) monarch, King Woldy the 1st (aka Woldy the Wise). King Woldy's time as monarch is by far the most interesting. I'm saying this for two reasons. The first one being the expansion of the royal family from a single person (the king) to the current six members of the Woldean family with the most notable expansion being queen Butjam. However, not only the royal family expanded. Many other titles were given to citizens. For example, there's the Woldean Stable containing seven members such as Huey George (title: Lord Treasurer and Count of Montecristo) & Madelina de Melrose (title: Baron Melrose). There is also a miscellaneous title list containing titles such as noted peasant and royal wench. Lastly there was the Order of Nifty. This was a MU that got acknowledged as a royal MU. The second thing that makes Woldy the Wise's time as a king interesting is that he is unlike his predecessors king for life. In 2013 the monarchy act aswell as the procedures for removing the monarchy were removed by Goku Jones making it impossible to remove the monarch.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my article as much as i had writing it. I would like to give a quick shout-out to the people who endorsed my previous article. This generous act managed to cover a big part of my costs to publish my article in Belgium aswell. Lastly i would like to add that all ideas for future historical articles are welcome (either UK connected or not).
