MDP/Norsefire Coalition Announces CP Candidate

This is an official message from the MDP/Norsefire Coalition
The MDP/Norsefire has decided to allow Jacobi to be CP of eCanada for the month of August
We have allowed this for 2 reasons
Reason 1 - So Jacobi can get a much needed wake up call to the way things are around eCanada, and Erepublik these days. I look forward to all his hard work in the "Ambassador Corps" and with the many "Food Drops" - Sound like something Soooo 2 years ago? - It is
Oh, and enjoy the peace everyone, We'll be fighting some meaningless battle in the middle of nowhere in no time!
Reason 2 - Many remember when Sperry tried this very same thing. A lengthy absence followed by a campaign of grandiose plans. Of course Sperry got elected, took a look around and said, "F this", I'm outie..
The Coalition will be running a contest this month to predict the day that Jacobi has this same revelation. Of course, he need not quit, We will also consider when activity levels come to a slow crawl or a standstill
Squares on the Calender, going from the 5th of August to the 4th of September, will cost 1000 CAD each. The same square can be sold to multiple competitors, and the prize money split among those who play it
EX: Jabobi pulls a Sperry on August 16th, the people who bought the August 16th square split the prize
Of course, Tyrael Snow could also win, Winter could indeed be coming, should that happen the Coalition will stand ready in September to clean up the mess.....
So, In Summary - The Coalition intentionally chooses no Candidate for CP for the month of August because for varying reasons, they both kinda suck

In other news, I have decided to allow the sun to rise tomorrow, only because I know it will eventually set thus proving me right that the sun is unreliable. I could choose to NOT have the sun rise tomorrow, but then I wouldn't get the satisfaction of seeing it set, thus proving I'm right.

Sperry was 3 weeks, Rylde made it to about 6 weeks, so let's go for 9 weeks with Jacobi to make it an arithmetic sequence.

So Instead of working to make Canada a better place, they will hope Jacobi and Canada fails. They will actually place bets on Canada's failure. Perhaps maybe it's because they don't have a viable candidate to run.
Maybe it's a Rolo money scheme. If Jacobi holds steady and finishes his term, then nobody wins! In that case Rolo can keep all the money!
