Just some thoughts about the forums

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who's been nice to me. I enjoyed reading all the comments. Most of them suggested staying and researching.

Which I tried. But it's much harder than I thought. Everything is disorganized. I know I was censured but I couldn't find information on how long and what that even means. But luckily I now know I'm not allowed to approve citizenship request from some Pizza the Hut guy. Useful information.

I guess there is a way to find everything you need, but that's not the point. It's not easy to find for a new player. And everyone is using some acronyms that I don't know what they mean. It's really confusing.

My thoughts are really scattered so I'll try to end this fast and just list my 3 main points.

1. The forums feel elitist. It's like a group of friends that decided to have all the control and work hard to keep it while pretending it's all in the interest of the eUSA citizens. There's also this hate for Phil Harmony which I didn't quite understand and I'm not sure when it's a joke and when people are serious about it.
2. The forums complicate everything. eRepublik is already a difficult game. There's so much you can do and you don't really know where to start. Forums bring another layer of complexity to this that will drive away new players.
3. The game is dead. There's 1700 active players in the USA. That's incredibly small. And instead of trying to bring in new people and keep them, which should be priority number one, the old players are more focused on keeping their power and worrying about dumb little things.
