Join the new world

So, I had been planning to apply for Congress in the soon to come election. My hours at work are starting to drop, so I thought I'd have some time I could dedicate to that.
Unfortunately, a situation developed at work this week that has completely ruined my plans. Long story short, a coworker (who apparently dislikes me), falsely accused me of laziness and being bossy, neither of which are true.
So I now have to put it even more effort (by admission of several of my coworkers I was already the hardest worker), and my interactions with my coworkers is severely stunted (Several of them actually relied on me for advice and help). Because of this, I have decided I can no longer work effectively at my current job, so I will be starting a new job search in a week or two, when things have a chance to quiet down just a little.

Suffice to say, I will not have the time or energy to dedicate to Congress, so I will have to pass it up this time.
