Interview with Taiwanese President CKWang

Day 3,722, 09:42 Published in Australia Croatia by Div Jak

How long have you been playing?
-I joined Erepublik at 1st July, 2012, around two thousand days.

What were some of your previous jobs?
-I had worked to assist MoFA in couple months before 3 years ago., and sometimes served as congress member.

How is the eTaiwanese community now?
-In compared with 3 or 4 years before, our community is clearly shrunk and less active. Fortunately, there still some experienced players keep this country working, and support by other remained players. Occasionally some new blood flow into community, and bring replacing manpower to our country.

What good/creative things has Taiwan done to retain players and have fun in the community?
-Since eROC is a small country, we had faced a series of military crisis before. Most old players work together to stand our country, and therefore establish some kinda friendship to each other. Although many of them are not that active than before, but many of them keep back to check everything alright. When in necessary, these experienced players always inform each other and come for aiding. In combined with friendship and trust of each other and the belief for survival of our own e-country, it probably be the reason why still amount of Taiwanese players stay in Erepublik. Personally, I do enjoy to raise fireworks for eROC in battlefield, it may also explain some as well.

Who are Taiwan's close allies now?
-As I know, we keep solid collaboration with eChina for a very long time. Also, by time to time we establish good relationship to many other countries particularly those allies in Pacifica and Asteria. We eROC cannot stand well without firm support from these allies.

What languages are used in eTaiwan?
-We all use traditional Chinese since it is the official language in real life of Taiwan too.

What were the last wars Taiwan was involved in and how did they go?
-In recent days, we hold train wars with eSwiss. My special thanks to eSwiss that this series TW did meaningful for our citizens.
Otherwise, we do our best to keep eROC and neighborhood in peace. Therefore we rarely get involved in wars unless our allies in need.

How is Taiwan's economy now?
-Our economy status is keeping in minimal balance I believe.

How do you see the social aspect of the game?
-Occasionally, players of eROC arrange events and meetings in real life. Otherwise, many of us using communication app such as discord or line for general chatting.

How are relations with Japan? Philippines? Singapore? Malaysia? Thailand? New Zealand? South Korea? North Korea?
-We try our best to keep a constant peace with other Pacific-Asia countries. It seems working well till now, and I hope such peaceful time can stay much longer.

Tell us about Taiwanese MUs.
-Taiwan Armed Mobs is the largest MU in Taiwan in both member number and firepower. Most members are Taiwanese players including me, and sometimes we support allies when in need.

How does state supply work?
-Currently, state supply works when critical wars outbreak in eROC or allies as combat order. Most public supply to players is operated by parties and MUs, and still function well in recent days.
