Interesting Times

As I'm writing this, there are roughly 1 1/2 hours before voting starts.

We have a chance to upset the apple cart, throw our country for a loop, some might think it's irresponsible, some may say it's dangerous, I say it's exciting!

What is Erepublik?

A game.

Some of the greatest times in my experience in this game came when the eUSA was overrun and we were fighting our way back from the brink of annihilation.

We don't have to go that dramatic, but you have a choice this election, you can play it safe, let the few elites just continue their same old same old again and again until the game is literally just a repetition of real life, work, gym, boring.

Or you can take a chance, say screw it and lob a molotov through the eWindow and quite possibly spark a Rennaissance!

There's an old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times." because, in real life, interesting times are often terrifying and deadly. In erepublik, interesting times are what keep the game fun.

So eUSA, may your next month be an interesting one.

I don't fault you for wanting to topple the 'ivory tower'. I do wish some of those 'elites' were more proactive in dismantling some obsolete bureaucratic garbage and there were more active engaged newcomers willing to rebuild something better in it's place.

I haven't seen anything from you that indicates any vision or goal beyond 'upsetting the apple cart' or 'burning it all down'. Burning all what exactly? Is it merely a month of anarchy you're looking to achieve?
