So the issue has stagnated a long while, even after the presidential elections. This, imo, is a critical issue we cannot allow to lie dormant. So
Ive tried kicking off a third round of discussions in the forums. I urge all citizens to go, read and comment. The congress forums are open to all eJapanese citizens and threads marked [Discussion] are open for those citizens to post their own comments and suggestions in.
Have an idea on how immigration should be handled? Suggest it in that thread! Want to see the partisan BS flushed and congress actually work? Post in that thread, apply pressure to your congress members. Make your voices heard!

Any three party's soo you wouldn't say it's DNP-CTG will. If we are excluded, then it isn't democracy. If those two accept, some from 3 others must confirm. It's even better solution for you then for us, if you consider that you have more support.

What immigration policy? We should have none, it works for the people in power now, doesnt it? Why should it change then?
We have no active immigration policy. exCP Akki announced that the previous one is not practiceable, and also DNP declared that they deny the law mentioned above. Thus, a new Immigration Law is needed.
Lol, maybe the old one is not practical because people dont respect it, there is nothing you can do when people blatantly just ignore it.
We really don't have extra law for immigration. Except the game rules that every conressman can give only one CS. But what is wrong with that? I want to search only a solution if I see some problem.
But I can promisse If any of my congressmen will break the game rules and give more cs than one, i will give him a penalty!
To take it a little more seriously. We have many new citizens from different countries. Our population is growing and also our tax incomes. We are stronger and stronger every day. I don't see dangeroud groups. Why should we make immigration more difficult?
Don't really see how that is a "law" perse, but I guess in the realm of Geezus"nomics" it counts as one. The old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" fits pretty well here. Immigration is broken, and it needs fixing.

Tell me what is wrong with the current situation. To have no extra rules is no problem for me! I'm happy to see so many new citizens in Japan. All of them are OK! Why we need more rules. Plese tell me problems, and dont repeat that we don't have immigration law because this is no problem!
