Election Results

Day 614, 07:38 Published in Austria Austria by Rangeley

Yesterday's election results are in, and the Illumnus Austria party and Austrian Conservative Party have found themselves tied for the biggest wins with 10 each - though 4 members of the Conservative Party have abandoned it since yesterday. This leaves the Illumnus Austria party as the single largest contingent in congress.

The Rott Weiss Rott Party, last months big winner, has seen its contingent cut in half, from 16 to 8. Last month's second place winner, the People's Socialist Party, has similarly been (roughly) halved, from 9 to 5. And finally, the Progressive Party has gained 8 seats.

The congress looks like it will have a much different face from last time, and I wish all congressman well in the month ahead. I would also like to thank those who fought hard for a seat but didn't quite pull through - elections can be fickle things, and unfortunately, sometimes deserving people miss out. I hope people stay active, and work together in Austria for a better tomorrow.

Below are the winners from each party, along with the party's total in parentheses, and last months total in brackets within the parentheses.
