Election day

Het is weer die ene dag in de maand, de dag van de verkiezingen voor het congres. Normaal gesproken een leuke dag waarop mijn eVrienden me vertellen op welke partij ik moet stemmen. Maar toen ik terugkwam van een dag werken zag ik alleen maar berichten over wat ik niet moet stemmen, naar wie ik niet moet luisteren en mensen die elkaar persoonlijk aanvallen. Wat is het probleem? Democratisch Nederland de 2e partij van Nederland met 38 leden heet slechts 1 kandidaat beschikbaar gesteld. Een slecht iets? Om eerlijk te zijn boeit het me niet zo. Het verteld alleen maar dat de partij dood, inactief of nog slechter dat ze niet geven om de verkiezingen. Wat ik wel jammer vind is dat ze stemmen krijgen die straks niet gebruikt worden. Er staan een hoop veelbelovende spelers op de kieslijsten bij de andere partijen. Een paar plaatsen in het congres zullen nu niet gevuld worden en dat is jammer.

Ik moet ook zeggen dat ik het eens ben met de mensen die zeggen dat het niet de taak is van de regering om ons te vertellen op wie we niet moeten stemmen. Ik denk dat de regering hierin alleen advies moet geven en verder de mensen hun eigen conclusies laten trekken. Niet dat er mensen zijn die luisteren naar de regering aangezien demnl al 19 stemmen heeft 😉

Voor de mensen die nog moeten stemmen is mijn advies: kies verstandig.







It’s that day of the month again, the day we vote for congress. Normally a funny day where my efriends tell me to vote on different parties. But when I got back after a day at work I only saw people shouting not to vote this, not to listen to this and assaulting each other. Now what’s the problem? Democratisch Nederland the second party in the Netherlands with 38 members has only 1 candidate running for congress. A bad thing? To be honest, I don’t really care. It only proves that the party is dead, inactive or even worse they don’t care about the elections. What I do care about is that they take votes that will not be used. There are a lot of promising players on the elections lists of other parties. A few spots in congress will not be filled now and that’s a pity.

I also have to say that I agree with the people who say that it’s not the job of the government to tell you who not to vote. I think they should only give advice and let the people make their own decisions. Not that there are any people listening to the government 😉 as demnl has 19 votes at the moment.

For the people who still have to vote my advice is: choose wisely
