Easier said than done
Ruminantus
After being offered an impressive amount of info on the nowadays political scene in the eUSA, time came to make up my mind.
I'm grateful for this flow of details that I had to filter against my personal values and expectations.
Let me give some back and share a partial result.

NOPES:
American Freedom Alliance
While I like them for being anti-totalitarian and while I’m sympathetic with their struggle to gain a voice in the eUSA community, I don’t condone their being a sectarian party, organized by and around non-resident citizens.
Indeed America is a nation of emigrants, and its strength is given by the diversity of its human resource, but, in the same time, I believe America is America when it stands united around values and creeds, not when people are divided in nationalities and ethnic groups. Integration and inclusion, not self-separation and secession!
We The People
I remember the times when this was a great party. Too bad it is dying. I’m really fond of the significance of its name and its ingame history.
American Military Party
Nobody even bothered to say something about this group... Sorry.
EZC's Apolitical Party
They are staying out of the ingame politics, while I still want a taste of the political life. Not a match.
Old Farts United
“You'd be welcome to join us, but don't expect anything - nothing is exactly what we offer.” This is a serious offer to have in mind for retirement. I'm looking forward for that time to come!
IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S ME
United States Workers Party and Federalist Party
Look, I really like you both for being the best there is: you’re big, old, strong-minded gals.
You’re the big-bad wolf I admire, but in a competition I tend to cheer the underdogs.
Also, in politics I use to side with the sheep, not with the wolves in power.
What do I hear?! Is there a rumor that you’re being pro-dictatorship?
I’m sure it’s just evil and slanderous people trying to smear your image.
I also prefer a slimmer community, where it’s still a lot of work to do and where my contribution has a greater chance of being consequential.
So, as I sai
😛it’s me, not you.
THE BIG MAYBEs
Socialist Freedom Party and The Black Sheep Party
- Both are anti-dictatorship, anti-establishment, anti-elitist, pro-democracy parties. My kind!
- One is more vocal; the other is more laid back.
- They’re both weak on internal discipline, allowing for unsanctioned difference of opinion to be expressed in public.
- One is for lower taxes and freedom; the other is for freedom… but also for a bit more redistribution of wealth.
- One holds primaries, the other seems… not to.

So, which am I?
What a tribulation!
Yours, adiemus

Remember that EZC MU is open to all, not just those in the "party".
And you should really reconsider the USWP, though if the ingame Dictatorship is a problem, then I can understand why you'd look elsewhere.
At USWP we are NOT in favor of actual Dictatorship. In fact, we have worked to enact nearly every legislation that safeguards the integrity of a functioning Congress despite having to make use of the ingame Dictatorship "module" for the benefit of the Nation.
We generally all agree that forgoing the ingame Dictatorship would be sacrificing a MAJOR benefit to national security.
We also believe that the argument which accuses the Dictatorship module for its killing of the social dynamic is insufficient. It certainly has an impact. But the USWP answer is to create a vibrant conversation and activity offsite (eUS Forum) where what is lost due to the ingame Dictatorship can be regained.
I personally also think that as much as those who criticize the forum trolls for keeping people away from the forum, those who warn people to stay away from the forum to avoid the trolls are equally guilty of killing off activity.
Anyway, I look forward to your continued conversation in the media.
Spoken like a True Dictator 🙂
I'm grateful for your openness, and I'm honored by this attention you're offering to a newcomer.
I completely get the game mechanics pro-dictatorship argument. I do. But that doesn't make the situation right. I feel great unhappiness in the community about how things changed after the module was introduced.
I'm just saying: dictatorship module came as an opportunity, not a must. It's still us that decide if we want a dictatorship or a working parliament with many players having their share of fun ingame by pushing voting buttons and debating economic and military strategies.
Thanks again for the dialogue!
I hope you will run for US Congress. Then you will see how hard we have worked to preserve the parliamentary essence of Congress. In fact, I will bet that your experience in US Congress will be the most parliamentary experience you've ever had in eRep. Some questions we discuss over many days and dozens upon dozens of pages.
I also challenge you to find an eRep nation with a more well fleshed out Constitution than eUSA.
And all of this continues to buzz away under "dictatorship".
In reality eUSA is not a dictatorship. It is a parliamentary democracy wherein the elected dictator has less legislative power than Congress. Trust me on this. I am the only CP who attempted to challenge Congress's hold over the dictatorship. I gave Congress every opportunity to eliminate the dictatorship by getting elected on a platform of non-dictatorship. They rejected my mandate.
So what we've fashioned is a hybrid that takes full functional advantage of the dictatorship while preserving the parliamentary democracy of an active Congress.
What you have is a elitist minority ruling through the metagame for ages.
Gnil, discussing things for endless amounts of time is not a preservation of parliamentary essence.
Also, nearly all arguments of installing a dictatorship are far less stronger in the current landscape.
"But the USWP answer is to create a vibrant conversation and activity offsite (eUS Forum) where what is lost due to the ingame Dictatorship can be regained."
LMAO
Don't be a tit, why would you not participate in the metagame.
It's not about participation, it's about how this forum is run. Anyone opposing the elitist's narrative is attacked, mobbed and even harassed.
Some dead people indgame have more influence then elected congressmen. It's a swamp that needs to be drained.
Honestly; the trip is more fun than the destination. Starting a small party to see where it goes, is the ultimate political experience.
so the fact that SFP bought it's way into the top 5 is supposed to be ignored now?
@CoD elaborate please
Give it a rest George. You need a new hobby.
truth hurts does it not?
I agree 100% I had that great experience several years ago. I consider myself lucky. That's why I'm a bit more laid back now, considering my need for social+political FUN satisfied.
"American Military Party
Nobody even bothered to say something about this group... Sorry."
I founded the AMP on Day 845. it meant something then.
Mass respect, for George.
Be different, be a blacksheep!
★★★★ Baaaa ★★★★
Just come back, home! 🙂
The SFP has a really fun and active community, we have a discord channel and do weekly streams/talk shows. In general, even if we disagree strongly on certain issues I can say we're all very close. A lot of us have different backgrounds and beliefs, but we're united as one with the SFP.
I actually support raising taxes, unlike many in the SFP, and I also am against the dictatorship, and nobody has told me about how I must leave or be beholden to their beliefs. I don't know what happened with CoD, but his experiences I've never had.
I support raising taxes as well, but not prior a more transparent insight into the finances of our government. CC unnecessary wasted on COs is whole other story..
Go USWP or SFP, imo.
Hmm, but aren't those two in fierce opposition one to another?
Even though I'm officially in NEO SEES, I've been part of USWP for the most time and identify with them the most. And I have no problem at all with SFP.
It's mainly a clash of ego's and too many people who aren't that good at politics and think being a hardliner and calling other people names is a very good strategy in this game. In the end both parties have a lot of sensible normal people in them.
I see, but not the Feds or the Sheep?
I like about everyone in those two parties, as well as everyone in WTP, AMP, etc.
They just don't have that much of a meaningful impact imo. If you ask me who the biggest names of the feds are, they're not feds anymore. And BSP kinda went mute nowadays, sadly.
Thanks again for two such nice pictures. 😃
The article itself about your interesting journey and the beautiful landscape of the Banat.
The times I was in Vojvodina in the nineties of the last century I have seen Romania many times, but I couldn't cross the border because my visa for Serbia would have ended. o/
Your series of articles have been a joy to see.
Sad to hear you won't be joining the Feds, but I look forward to see how you progress in the USA Political World.
Glad to see you are still having fun 🙂
I'd say it's rather "again" than "still" 🙂
Is there a party called "Stop Already, Join a Phuking Party and play the game"
Is it me or does this feel so AJAYISH??? Even the typos and language have that Jersey sound to them... OK, yeah maybe I've goon too far but so has this fawning over some fake non American who needs his erep political party to be crowdsourced so he can get constant attention....
PEOPLE Stop taking this bait.... READ THE SIGN - "DON:T FEED THE ALLIGATORS!"
You can see it in my eyes, you can read it on my lips...
