A Formal Withdrawal

Everything I've done in my two months here has been around parties. I've ended up sending 6,300 PMs campaigning, informing, endorsing, receiving tons of flack for those things listed, and, in the last four days have spent, at minimum, 20 hours behind closed doors, shouting plans and ideas back and forth, all to have that work, that discussion, ripped apart by someone sending a hastily constructed and poorly worded PM to a number of people to save his own behind.
I have to say, it's left me quite disheartened with the entire prospect of politics. So much so that I want out.
So, with that behind me, I'd like to announce that I am officially leaving that sort of crap behind and putting my foot in the door with the only alternative--the eUS Military, or, specifically, the Training Division, since the MI is apparently stuffed to the gills and has banned me from their room [admittedly because I'm not a member and I wasn't at the computer at the time to defend myself]*. I have a good two weeks of my traditionally insane activity left to go, and by the looks of it, they're going to be an important two weeks.
If all else fails, I hear the ePhilippines is a nice place to live. (All hail HazzN!)
*I understand security is a huge issue--this is an extremely lame attempt at humor.

I've been playing since the Beta and I've never even heard of you. o.O You must suck at campaigning.
Hekter, if you want to be in the eUSMI, we'd welcome you. I apologize for banning you, but we have procedures, and you didn't respond after multiple attempts to verify your identity. Security is important, as you will discover if you do join the military.

Wow, LG Ato, could you be any more obtuse? Hekter worked primarily within his party and what campaigning he did, he did for other members of the party. How about you shut your mouth about things you have no knowledge of.
I for one have great respect for the work he did for the CvP. Him deciding to leave for good is a huge blow and personally, I will miss him within the confines of the party. Best of luck to you in your military career Hekter.

I haven't been around that long to qualify for the Army, unfortunately.
The CvP has lost another great member today. Your work was always appreciated by myself at least and I hope by the rest of the party. All the things that you and Jaxon did for us was above and beyond the average, great, or extraordinary even.

First. I never questioned your claim to being around since Beta. I understand the whole concept of restarting.
Second. Since you seem to need an English lesson (or you're being purposely obtuse), this is straight from the dictionary.

Third. So according to you, the only way he could have accomplished or been successful at these things is for him to have been more widely known? I'll repeat for clarification, Hekter worked primarily *within* the *Conservative Party*. As a member of the Libertarian Party, he would have had no reason to contact you.
Another great member leaves. 🙁 Hekter you were always a fun person to talk with in IRC and I know you did a ton of work for the CvP and I hate to see you go. Best of luck with the military.
