Apparently "in the following weeks" means at least 365 days. That's pretty impressive tbh.

A short message to eRep Labs.

I understand that thing can get delayed and that plans can be changed. But all you need to do is to communicate with the community. I agree that a good mobile app for the game is more important than implementing any types of local elections. But tell us what we can expect. I think that most players would be more satisfied with that, even if it would mean that we would know that we won't see any local elections.

The clock is still ticking and will pass 365 days within just a few hours after I publish this article, hopefully we won't need to "celebrate" this anniversary next year too.

"Perception" too. We've had air rounds for, what, a couple years now at least. But they still haven't implemented whatever was originally planned with Perception (the equivalent of Strength in ordinary rounds I'm assuming). Ofc it should've been rolled out at the beginning, when they first introduced air rounds. The fact they never give updates about what they're doing and what the hold up is, whether for Local Elections or Perception, just comes across as real slapdash, and something I've come to accept as typical of how things are done on this site.

Didn't know that. They should just delete the profile graphic then, if they have scrapped all notion of ever implementing it. Considering the issues with strength and the imbalance it created with new players, and the work-arounds they had to implement (like dmg boosters), I don't know why they ever planned to incorporate something almost identical in the air module.

When you go out as an erep admin and publicly declare that something happens in the following weeks, even if you were told to do so or not, its very common to, after nothing happened in the following weeks, to make another statement saying that the whole thing got delayed or even cancelled. Poor management indeed.

i for one have long passed the point where i asked myself - is this worth my money? the answer is very simple - it does, i choose it to be - and i do it to hangout and enjoy with friends from all the world setting in my house.

i don't pay for erep labs, it's not cause i believe them or their statements any more... makes no difference, i'm here for my ppl, all the rest i leave to ppl how still give a shit about the game itself.

The eRepublik devs are about as on point with their update schedule as Valve is with CS:GO, which is to say, not at all. 😛

Jag misstänker att dom(nya ägarna till eRep Labs) har svårt att rättfärdiga en investering utav arbete/pengar på eRep som har sjunkande intäkter. Tills man når break-even på en arbetsinsats så är vi förmodligen inte kvar. Så det är nog bättre att ligga lågt och håva in dom sista slantarna innan vi bommar igen.

Dessutom är vi en nitchad grupp utav spelare. Mobil-landskapet består utav helt andra spel. Troligtvis så skulle inte antalet spelare öka i längen. Man kanske hittar några nya spelare men man är ju ute efter VISA-Warriors. F2P lirarna blir inte kvar länge om man inte redan är en gammal relik som har svårt att bryta sina vanor som oss. Browserspel är tyvärr snart ett minne blott.
