Nothing but good stuff here.

Voting for Oinyo, hes put up almost an hour of video for his campaign. Only logical thing to do, I can't possibly vote for Tiger unless you all put more effort into it.

I think it's only been about 30 minutes and I would hope that you wouldn't be swayed by theatrics. If you're going to vote for Oinyo (and I'm certainly not saying you shouldn't) I would hope it's for his actual ideas and not for the fact that he might come out with a 10 minute video once a week or so.

I'm sorry Cho, didn't know you were legally blind. On this page is a picture of a naked woman and a cat - in case your PC's text to speech program didn't point it out for you. If you can direct me to an actual campaign I would read it and very well change my opinion.

I find your response insulting, mainly patronizing. Other than PatHarpers pitch, this is the 2nd most theatrical pitch for CP I've read thus far, yet your comment is not directed to this article.

People are leaving the game and eCanada is dying if not dead already. If your Party cannot even put in a formal pitch I cannot possibly vote for Tiger - my comment stands.

This is a simple game, and we need someone to put in the time. Oinyo has taken the time to film, edit, write and pitch more than any other candidate. The effort alone is worth the vote. If your party did the same, then I'd be posting this on PatHarpers page.

I don't care who runs. I'm not voting for this lackadaisical example of a CP.

MercBaker, let me clear up a couple misconceptions for you.

1) I don't support Shere Richard Parker for country president. I didn't even vote this article. Like I said, I'm influenced more by ideas than flash so yeah, a cat pic, a hot girl, and a list of people who he hasn't even asked join his cabinet doesn't do it for me.

2) I'm not a member of Shere's Sons of Anarchy party nor am I member of Pat Harper's Union of Social Reform Party. In fact, I'm not a member of ANY party. My comment was completely non-partisan (maybe you missed the part where I said that I'm NOT saying you shouldn't vote for Oinyo); yeah, parentheses are hard). That's exactly why it wasn't addressed to this article but to your comment. Normally I would expect someone who wrote as long and insulting a comment as yours to do at least that much research but then again...

3) There are three serious candidates for Country President! There's your boy Oinyo, the Canadian Progressive Front's Dozzer_x and the Military Dictatorship Pary's Shoi12. Right now their campaign articles are two of the top five articles, with the lulz candidates taking another 2 spots. Since apparently your vision is perfect, I don't know what excuse you have for failing to do your homework. You shouldn't need a random person to point these articles out for you but since you asked so politely, here they are:

I'm sorry if you felt insulted by my first comment, MercBaker, but I would hope that after re-reading your own comment and this one (although I really am trying to hold back here - your last comment was just so.... but anyways) that you can see what insult looks like when it's intended. As for patronizing, I think your second comment does more to belittle your intelligence than my own did.

Still questioning your vision Cho. If your comment was directed to me and not this article use a PM. If you're going to comment on an article titled "Tiger4CP", I'm left to assume you support this candidate unless you say otherwise - which you didn't. Just this changes the entire issue you seem to have.

Your first comment and your last comment says nothing about Tiger4CP's lack of effort which I am commenting on. In stead you read this entire article as: "Does Mercbaker have sound sensibilities" and you bolted into action to address my sensibilities.

This just makes your comment even more patronizing since you don't even support Tiger! Are you doting on me? Watching me? Making sure I make good decisions in my eLife?

Type as much text as you want Chochi, at the end of the day If you're not going to even address my comment that:

Then I'm not interested in anything you can respond with and Tiger should delete this entire waste of time (your and my responses).

MercBaker, I'm sorry that you took my comment so personally but I don't see this as a personal matter (well, insults aside). You wrote a comment in an article. I replied to that comment. That's the whole point of this system. It's a public forum for discussion designed to share ideas with everyone, so I will continue (and hopefully end it) here.

Frankly I don't care enough about who you vote for to write you a PM about it, let alone follow you around watching what you write, I just take issue with your logic.

I'm also really starting to question your analytical skills. I already said in my previous comment what I thought about this article and Shere's PP run.

As for Oinyo, for the third time, I am not, I repeat, am not saying that you should not vote for him, just that if you do vote for him that you should do so based on his ideas not on his video editing skills (which apparently you agree with). Never did I say this wouldn't be the case for you or for anyone else. I'm just highlighting the fact that I disagree with your first comment's conclusion about voting for Oinyo simply because of those videos.

As for building this up and being patronising, yeah, I do tend to get a little pissy when I'm insulted but really, this is on you. Just compare comments 1 and 2 with comment 3. See the change in tone and length? If you can dish it out, you better be prepared to handle it. Well, ok, I probably could have gone a little easier on you anyways. Sorry about the insults.

Didn't say for Tiger to delete his article, I said "Your and my responses". Since you do not support Tiger, there is no point in keeping this nonsense on his page - it is horribly off topic.

This is my last message/pm, because text is a poor medium for this issue. And while this is entertaining to others, I find your inability to address just ONE point tiring.

Your first comment is the whole issue here. You posted it on Tigers page, in reply to my comment, reprimanding my opinion. If you fail to state that you do not support Tiger then one would naturally assume you DO support him.

If you had sent it through PM, I would not have assumed you supported him because it is off his page. Your comment, on his page - you support him. Your comment, off his page - is just a PM.

If Tiger was giving a speech in a room and I stood up to rebuttal, then you stood up and said your comment, what is the assumption of who you support politically?

Tiger spoke nonsense, and you looked like you defended him. Whole reason WHY my second response to you was harsh.

I don't log on here to have petty arguments and I don't need to litter my responses with little insults and end off my message in a condescending manner like you have. You've miss-stepped from the beginning so I suggest you go back and understand that ONE point.
