Join the new world

Recently, the State Media team got in touch with Zek Punga, the SG of the newest alliance, Andes. Consisting of only South American nations, Andes is under occupation from various Asteria nations, and they are constantly fighting for their independence, day in and day out.



ENGLISH VERSION


1. Can you introduce yourself to the American people?

Hi all!! I was e-born on April 2010, and I was the Argentina CP in October 2012. I was always more interested in the political and social aspect of the game. I have been integrating the Argentine government and helping in the military for 6 months. However, this last month, I decided that I am particularly interested in being SG of the Andes alliance, which has particularly excited me, because things have been achieved that seemed impossible a few months ago. Relations between Argentina and Chile are strong, the South American collaboration has happened, and an NAP was signed with Peru and Colombia.



2. Why was the Andes alliance formed?

Andes is a cultural project that arose from the concern that the constant European invasions in South America could jeopardize the normal development of the South American communities. It is a militarily defensive but culturally expansive alliance.



3. Do you think you can liberate South America? What is your gameplan, as a new alliance?

It is our main objective, but it is also a long term project. The idea is to accustom the South American communities to working together, as if we were a big homeland. We must nurture solidarity and trust with neighboring countries, which already share so many cultural similarities.

It is a matter of time before we free ourselves, either due to Asteria being bored, or because we become strong enough to beat them. Yet, the important thing is to build from today, thinking about a future with a free and united South America. In short, I, as an Argentine, grew up reading Martin Fierro, which begins: "The brothers are united because that is the first law. Have a true union at any time, because if they fight, they are devoured by outsiders."



4. Most countries in South America are in Andes, except for Brazil. Why are they not in Andes?

I ask myself the same question. 😛


Argentina had a hard time understanding that fighting Chile forever is not beneficial for either community, and I believe other South American countries realize this as well, especially Brazil. After all, it is a great ally of most of the Andes countries. It is my personal goal to see both Brazil and the rest of Latin America join Andes, in the future.



5. For a long time, South American countries were constantly at war. How important is South American unity for you? Do some of these old divisions still resurface?

I believe that unity at the regional level is fundamental, not only for the peace and cordiality that is generated by having good relations with the neighbors, but we can also defend ourselves better before any external rival, if we are united. We know that altogether, in our prime time, we can have effective damage strikes.

The old grudges slowly disappear, and the NAP with Peru is a sign of the maturity of our communities. The same happened with Colombia, with whom we have better relations. We continue to grow, and we understand that peace and unity in South America is fundamental to our future interests. And even at this critical moment, where we are being erased by Asteria for several months, our mood is still high, and the solidarity that is demonstrated in each battle fills us with pride.


6. Do you have anything you'd like to say to the people of the eUSA?

I would like for the North American and South American communities to become closer, in the future. The cultural mix can generate a nice project.

1. ¿Se puede presentar al pueblo estadounidense?

Nací en abril del 2010, fui cp de argentina en octubre del 2012 y siempre estuve más interesado en el aspecto político y social del juego, vengo integrando los gobiernos argentinos y ayudando desde lo militar desde hace 6 de meses, salvo este último mes que decidí ocuparme de lleno a la Secretaría General de Andes, lo que me tiene particularmente entusiasmado porque se vienen logrando cosas que parecían imposibles hace unos meses, lo fuerte que están las relaciones de argentina y chile, la colaboración sudamericana en general y el NAP que incluye a Perú y Colombia, por ejemplo.

2. ¿Por qué se formó la alianza de los Andes?

Andes es justamente un proyecto cultural que surge de la preocupación de que las constantes invasiones de las potencias europeas en sudamérica puedan poner en riesgo el normal desarrollo de las comunidades sudamericanas. Es una alianza militarmente defensiva pero culturalmente expansiva.

3. ¿Crees que puedes liberar América del Sur? ¿Cuál es su plan de juego, como una nueva alianza?

Es nuestro objetivo principal pero es un proyecto a largo plazo. La idea es acostumbrar a las comunidades sudamericanas a trabajar juntas como si fuéramos una patria grande. Alimentar la solidaridad y la confianza con el país vecino con el que compartimos tantas similitudes culturales.
Es cuestión de tiempo que nos liberemos, ya sea porque Asteria se aburra gastar tanta CC en la ocupación o por nuestra fuerza militar, pero lo importante es construir desde hoy pensando en un futuro con una Sudamérica libre y unida. En fin, yo como argentino crecí leyendo el Martín Fierro que empieza: “Los hermanos sean unidos porque esa es la ley primera. Tengan unión verdadera en cualquier tiempo que sea, porque si entre ellos pelean los devoran los de afuera.”

4. La mayoría de los países de América del Sur se encuentran en los Andes, excepto en Brasil. ¿Por qué no están en los Andes?

Yo me hago la misma pregunta. 😛

Bueno, a la Argentina le costó mucho entender que luchar contra chile eternamente no es beneficioso para ninguna de las dos comunidades, y creo que ese camino seguirán el resto de países de sudamerica que aun no estan en Andes, pero sobre todo Brasil ya que es un gran aliado de la mayoría de los países de Andes. Es mi objetivo personal ver en un futuro tanto a Brasil como al resto de Latinoamérica ingresando en Andes.

5. Durante mucho tiempo, los países sudamericanos estuvieron constantemente en guerra. ¿Cuán importante es la unidad sudamericana para usted? ¿Alguna de estas viejas divisiones aún resurge?

Considero que la unidad a nivel regional es fundamental, no solo por la paz y cordialidad que se genera al tener buena relación con los vecinos, sino que además todos unidos podemos defendernos mejor ante cualquier rival externo, sabiendo que todos juntos en nuestro prime time podemos realizar un daño coordinado y efectivo. Los viejos rencores lentamente se van esfumando, el nap con perú es una muestra de madurez de nuestras comunidades, lo mismo pasa con colombia con los que cada vez tenemos mejores relaciones. Seguimos creciendo y vamos entendiendo que la paz y unidad en sudamérica es fundamental para nuestros intereses futuros. Y aún en este momento crítico donde estamos siendo borrados por Asteria durante varios meses, los ánimos de nuestros países siguen altas y la solidaridad que se demuestra en cada batalla nos llena de orgullo, este es el camino.


6. ¿Tiene algo que le gustaría decir a la gente de la eUSA

Me gustaría que en un futuro cercano podamos acercar al menos un poco las comunidades norteamericanas y sudamericanas. La mistura cultural puede generar algún lindo proyecto.
