[Senry4CP] Media and Full Cabinet

Day 3,360, 10:12 Published in USA USA by AlTounsi.

Hey there, I'm Senry.

First thing I'll do here is just drop my entire cabinet.

Vice President: Azazel Romanov / Yui
Chief of Staff: Tom Cauchon
FA: Ilene Dover / Derphoof
DoCA: rainy sunday / Jessina
Media: Tyler Bubblar / YBDM

Troll Czar: George Orwell

Neat, huh?

So about Media. My plan with media is simply to adapt more towards how other countries do articles. Even if you don't buy into erepublik being a war game, it is a game based around everyone's personal numbers. Maybe it's just me, I don't think it is, but I love looking at my numbers go up. I like seeing breakdowns of Alliance damage, of how much someone helped in a given battle.

That's the kind of stuff that I think a lot of people are interested in, as opposed to the US's traditional style of fluff articles that don't really say anything to the average player.

Over the past month or so, I've started up a project to track our country's damage data across battles. It's been fun to watch (though not as fun to do the tracking all by myself). I plan to utilize this, as well as some other tools at our disposal to create cool graphs and charts representing US damage, and even Pacifica damage.

But that's not all, of course. With those graphs and charts, there'll be context given, as to what the battle meant in more detail than just X vs. Y. The primary focus of media will be to provide a paced stream of information to the average reader, and inform them on our global affiliations.

It won't all be a monotonous stream of that type of content either. Expect one or two FUN articles each week, in a more traditional style, but with a twist.

Hrm. Well. I guess that's media. Less than a week until the elections.

I'll be putting out one more article. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

And hopefully this article was palatable too.

Any questions?
