PANAM experiencing turbulence

Day 1,196, 12:28 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Danie Fox

Indonesia have just announced that they are joining up to help NWO, and proven their resolve by immediately proposing the US as a natural enemy. In response, the Serbian and Polish presidents promptly proposed MPPs with Indo, who are soon to lose most of their other allies due to MPP clashes with the USA. This will likely spell the end of the BIA alliance, with Brazil possibly facing attacks from the joint forces of Indo and Spain using Indo's recent swap into Columbia.

my attempt to link to a relevant picture here failed repeatedly, so this will break up the text instead

This new member marks the first expansion of NWO into countries outside of their Europe-centric timezones, allowing them to tank in the key minibattles between Spain falling asleep and Iran waking up. As the map shows, PANAM have coverage in every inhabited timezone (?Russia?), whereas NWO were struggling with no fighers east of Iran or west of Spain - a mere 5 timezones.

Poor quality timezone map, but it gives you the idea

Now, onto the second issue. Turkey, who is struggling to fend off longtime enemy Greece after a crushing occupation, have recently critised the United States for being too pro-Greek. They are even currently allied to Greece rather than Turkey, possibly as the result of Turkey cancelling their MPP by declaring war. Russia seem to be about to follow their lead, with a Greek MPP being proposed, and reports that they are open to another with Bulgaria, Turkey's other favourite enemy. If PANAM hopes to ever function as a proper alliance, this needs to be dealt with immediately, either by reprimanding/expelling Russia or ditching Turkey. The recent INCI incident is unlikely to help the Turkish cause. Some are now even saying PANAM stands for "PAct of Non-agression against AMerica" due to its apparent inaction, the membership of many of America's formerly hostile neighbours and, of course, the obsolete and boring alliance name.

Hopefully they will be sorting out the lags, and merging company and owner inventories, as well as limiting WPs at the moment, as they said they would in the suggestions page. Let's see how long the 20 minutes maintenance lasts...
