[MIAU] Aurora needs YOUR help [EN/ES]

Dear citizens of the eWorld,

I was elected SG in the HQ elections. I did not propose myself to this position, but the Macedonian CP -supported later by others leaders and whom I thank for the trust given- considered it appropriate and proposed me. It was said I was somebody who is active and a hard worker, who knows how to manage alliances and is informed about our countries’ situation.

Therefore I did not look for this position: it was something not of my personal interest and I was in charge of helping before. Votations finished and I was elected as SG and PacoX, Bulgarian CP (who was running for SG too), ended up being SC. It was all OK back then.

I organised a meeting to talk about our plans. There, problems started. The Chilean CP (Spanish-Belgian and former Spanish CP) elected an Argentine representative as the Chilean representative at the meeting. This player was a very best friend of mine.

To my astonishment, she went till the very beginning against me and she even asked for an impeachment. She put forward manipulated proofs (screenshots of a large conversation: biased stuff) and misbehaved in front of every single representative. Her arguments: I was Spanish and I trusted her (one of my best friends) by informing her about certain issues related to the alliance.

Do not trust anybody when there is power in between: I think I already learned that, but -to be honest- it is quite normal having people you consider to be trustable by your side. Her arguments started to ‘’decrease’’, till it reached the following point: or I was impeached, or Chile left the alliance. So little loves Chile this alliance for a foreign representative, Argentine, with Chile’s CP permission, to propose this measure?

The impeachment was not approved and Chile left the channel. They say they will not be coming back till I am not SG, no matter how derisory their arguments are and taking into account the impeachment did not pass. A country of our alliance denies accepting a double-legitimised democratic decision: both my election as SG and the rejection of the impeachment. And I did try to sort this out via dialogue.

Something never happened before came out this month: an internal problem. Believe me if I say a few people do not know who their real enemies are and they set above their feelings and ego to, not only the common good, but democracy. Nothing good can rise by means of manipulation, partiality and power abuse.

Chile has been widely admired because of -apart from its subtle foreign policy- their will to help and always respect its nearest environment. That is also Aurora’s philosophy, based on respect and NOT on pride nor arrogance. This seems to have changed, but it did not happen with other people more tolerant ruling Chile.

I would like to recall Aurora’s motto: Liberty, Loyalty, Dignity. There is no place for Tyranny. Having said that, I officially announce my demission for the sake of the alliance. I will most likely be replaced by Don Croata, a Croatian settled in Ireland and founder of Aurora. Another example which perfectly shows that everybody’s nationality does not really matter.

Do not let these actions to be repeate😛 you are the one who decides who governs. Because military achievements does not represent everything; because this alliance was founded on friendship; because equality IS possible.

Queridos ciudadanos del eMundo,

Fui elegido SG en las elecciones al HQ de Aurora. No fui yo quien se auto-propuso a esta posición, sino que fue el CP macedonio -apoyado posteriormente por otros líderes y a quienes agradezco la confianza depositada- quien lo vio oportuno. Se dijo que era alguien activo y trabajador, que sabe cómo manejar alianzas e informado acerca de la situación de cada uno de nuestros miembros.

Es decir, no busqué el puesto: no era algo de interés personal y mi labor consistía en ayudar. En las votaciones salí como SG y PacoX, presidente búlgaro (que competía también por mi misma posición), como SC. Hasta ahí todo bien.

Me dispuse a organizar una reunión para hablar sobre los planes de la alianza. Fue ahí cuando empezaron los problemas. El Presidente chileno, de origen hispano-belga y ex-CP español, asignó a una ciudadana argentina como representante de Chile en la reunión. Esta jugadora era una muy buena amiga mía.

Sorpresa la mía cuando descubrí que desde el principio fue en mi contra y pidió una moción de censura contra mí, presentó pruebas manipuladas (pequeños pantallazos, trozos de una conversación) y perdió la compostura en frente de todos los representantes de países Aurora. Sus argumentos: que era español y que había confiado en ella (una de mis mejores amigas en el juego), contándole cosas de la alianza.

¡No confíes en alguien cuando hay poder de por medio! Creí haberlo aprendido, pero es normal tener gente a la que consideramos de confianza a tu lado. Sus argumentos fueron reduciéndose hasta el punto de decir que si no se me ‘’impecheaban’’, Chile dejaba la alianza. Mi pregunta es la siguiente: ¿tan poco quiere Chile a Aurora como para que una representante foránea, argentina, con permiso del CP, propusiera esta medida?

El impeach no se aprobó y Chile abandonó el canal de la alianza. No regresarán hasta que no esté de SG, por irrisorios que sean sus argumentos y aunque no haya salido adelante el impeach. Un país de la alianza se niega a aceptar una decisión doblemente legitimada democráticamente: el que haya sido elegido SG y que no haya pasado la moción de censura. Y sí, intenté dialogar.

Se ha producido, pues, algo que nunca antes había pasado en la alianza: un problema interno. Creedme si os digo que algunos se confunden de enemigo y anteponen sus sentimientos y ego no ya al bien común, sino a la democracia. Nada bueno puede salir mediante la manipulación, parcialidad y abuso de poder.

Chile ha sido un país admirado últimamente por -aparte de su sutil política exterior- ayudar y respetar siempre a su entorno más cercano. Esa es también la filosofía de Aurora, basada en el respeto y NO en la soberbia. Esto parece haber cambiado, mas no pasaba con otras personas más tolerantes en el poder de Chile.

Me gustaría recordar el lema de Aurora: Libertad, Lealtad, Dignidad. No hay lugar para la tiranía. Dicho esto, aprovecho para dimitir por el bien de la alianza. Con mucha probabilidad me sustituirá Don Croata, croata afincado en Irlanda y fundador de la alianza. Un ejemplo más de que la nacionalidad de cada cual no importa.

No dejes que acciones como esta se vuelvan a repetir: eres tú el que decide quién gobierna. Porque los logros a nivel militar no son todo; porque esta alianza fue fundada en la amistad; porque la igualdad ES posible.
