[ITA/ENG] La dinastia Tang / The Tang Dynasty
Atlius DC
Xia 夏 (Prima mitica dinastia forse mai esistita) 21°-16° sec. a.C.
Shang 商 (Dinastia accertata da ritrovamenti archeologici) 16°-11° sec. a.C.
Zhou 周
Qin 秦 (Dinastia del Primo Augusto Imperatore della Cina: Qin Shi Wang Di) 221-207 a.C.
Han 漢
Tre Regni (Wu - Wei - Shu) 220-280
Jin
Sui 隋
Tang 唐 (Di cui parleremo oggi) 618-907
Song
Liao
Jin
Yuan 元 (Dinastia Mongola) 1279-1368
Ming 明 (Scacciarono i mongoli) 1368-1644
Qing 清 (Ultima dinastia) 1644-1911
Si insediarono nel 618 D.C. grazie all'imperatore Gao Zu (高祖)
sotto i passi,
lungo i fiumi
troverò neve e gelo.
La poesia di Li Bo
Il mio amico abita in alto
sui monti dell'est.
Gli piace la bellezza dei monti
e delle valli.
A primavera giace nei boschi disabitati
e dorme ancora
Amico mio, come t'invidio:
tu che lontano da discorsi
e litigi

*Notice that I didn't mention some period with a lack of power*
And now let's talk about the Tang Dynasty.
The Tang Dynasty took power in 618 A.D. thanks to to the Emperor Gao Zu (高祖).
Soon this dynasty showed its propension and interest in art, calligraphy reached the highest levels of beauty and painting became a true poetry during the reign of Emperor Xuan Zong (713 – 756).
Here some example:
The Calligraphy of Chu Suiliang
The painting of Wang Wei
The poetry of Tu Fu:
In Jincheng, music of silk and flutes mixes together all day,
Half goes to the river breeze, half goes to the clouds.
Music such as this should only go to heaven above,
In this human world, how many times can it be heard?
The poetry of Li Po:
Waking From Drunkenness on a Spring Day 春日醉起言志
處世若大夢, Life in the world is but a big dream;
I will not spoil it by any labour or care
所以終日醉, so saying, I was drunk all the day,
頹然臥前楹. lying helpless at the porch in front of my door
覺來盼庭前, when I awoke, I blinked at the garden-lawn;
一鳥花間鳴. a lonely bird was singing amid the flowers
I asked myself, had the day been wet or fine?
春風語流鶯. the Spring wind was telling the mango-bird
感之欲嘆息, moved by its song I soon began to sigh,
對酒還自傾. and, as wine was there, I filled my own cup
浩歌待明月, wildly singing I waited for the moon to rise;
曲盡已忘情. when my song was over, all my senses had gone
Tang Dynasty perhaps wanted to make us know that in life thre's much sorrow and pain but friendships and art can defeat it.

Bel lavoro proff : D
Tu= Cognome Fu= Nome
Grazie : )
Provvedo!
Grazie mille, molto gentile!
@DDS
votato per lo sbattimento
good
It's very difficult to translate Chinese poems into English 😛
You have already did it well, but the spirit of the poem seems not present enough.
In actually, I don't know how to present it either!
How difficult! But you are amazing!

Hello, Atlius, thanks for your letter, and I send a poem to you.
Du Mu《Climbing the Leyou hill》
Dim, dim, long sky, a lone bird fades away.
All ages vanish just in the same way.
Where are the glories of Han dynasty?
The Five Tombs, treeless, autumn winds now sway.
