¿What is WebM?

WebM is a video format oriented to be used with HTML5, the programming language of websites. It's like a Gif, but accepts higher quality, has no loading time and can have sound.

How can I create a WebM?

1st: Convert the video to WebM.


There are several pages that do this, for example: http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-webm




2nd. Upload the WebM file to a hosting


It seems silly but this is the most important part. There are many pages that allow you to upload a WebM file, but only those that generate a link with the .webm ending will be compatible with Erepublik.

This also applies to WebMs you find online. Only those with the .webm termination will be compatible.


For now I`ve found two hosting that add the termination .webm:

¿Cómo puedo crear un WebM?
1º Convertir el vídeo a WebM.

2º Subir el archivo WebM a un hosting


Parece tontería pero esta es la parte más importante. Existen muchas páginas que te permiten subir un archivo WebM, pero solamente las que generen un link con la terminación .webm, serán compatibles con Erepublik.

Esto también es aplicable con los WebM que encuentres por Internet. Solo aquellos que tengan la terminación .webm serán compatibles.
